Looks like an abandoned building, shabby exterior and broken windows- surely a safety issue. 4 rooms - but only a shared WC which we were not prepared for. Also the absent owner demands payment in cash - we wondered why ? Paper thin walls between rooms. Overall less of a dream - more of a nightmare.

Owner canceled my booking last minute, causing quite a lot of stress. Worse, tried to pin the blame on me instead of either owning up to his mistake or offering me alternative accommodation. As he will likely reply to this and again try to blame me, I should explain that he has his *********** account set to issue a “booking confirmed” email, but then after that point, he tries to debit the card on file for the full rate - even though it clearly says “pay at property.” I made the booking around 11:00, then went on a hike and long drive where I did not check emails. So it was a complete surprise to arrive - late in the evening, to be told the owner has canceled it and then to be told it’s me at fault. This was during a busy period and I was forced to book a much more experience place nearby. I attempted to reach out to the owner the following day with hopes he could at least offer an apology, but he again claims it’s all me at fault here. Place honestly didn’t look that great anyway, so best to avoid in any case…

They took ONLY cash and this meant an additional surcharge of €10 from the cash machine to pay for it. Had I known this prior to my visit I would have booked elsewhere. The room was tiny, we kept falling over each other. However, all the rooms were equally priced even though ours was half the size of the others. The owner tried to charge us €100 rather than the *********** agreed rate of €90. This may have been an honest mistake but made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. I would try elsewhere.

I will give this property a rating of 0 if it is available. I made reservation monthes before my trip to Iceland through ***********. Several days before my trip, I got an message ask about bed arrangement, I replied that even though four beds included in the room, we only have three people, and I prefer three single beds. 5pm on that day and couple hours before we are planning to check in, I got a message from the property manager that my reservation is cancelled! The last minutes cancellation was terrible. Now reading other people's review, I see that I am not alone. Don't book this property unless you have a backup plan.

Hotel cerrado totalmente ruinoso. Habíamos reservado una noche por booking y hacía años que cerrará. En el teléfono de contacto muy mala atención. Creo que se deberían revisar mejor las recomendaciones.

Creo que es la peor guesthouse que he estado en la vida. Solo un baño para 7 personas, el pago que se debía hacer a través de datafono nos lo hacían hacer en metálico porque no iba la máquina (lo cual implicaba ir al cajero en un momento que no nos era posible). Sigo, el desayuno era a las 8:00, con lo cuál interpretas que quien venga a preparártelo vendrá antes... Pues no, el desayuno es a partir de las 8:00, y es a partir de esa hora que vienen a preparártelo, con lo cual si tenías pensado hacer cosas de buena mañana mejor que te prepares tu propio desayuno. Todos los que allí nos hospedamos ese día salimos muy descontentos y el dueño no apareció en ningún momento. Muy mal.
