Hotels in Shimei Bay/Xinglong Resort, Wanning

The resort is really beautiful, and because the compound is big, you don’t feel like there’s a lot of people. One drawback is if you’re flying to Sanya airport you need to take a 1.5 hour taxi ride to the resort. What’s worse is the route going from hotel back to airport is blocked because of roadworks which means we had to find alternative transportation otherwise it would take double the time. I wish the hotel had mentioned this when we booked, it really inconvenience us a lot as we were travelling with family. I only realised this the day before leaving the hotel and only then I decided to change to high speed rail. Overall if I ever come back to Sanya, I would come back to this resort, but maybe without kids the next time!

The hotel is amazing! The beautiful green territory, nice view from the balcony on the mountains, an amazing sunset! The breakfast was varies and delicious. Staff was really helpful! The gym is well equipped! I like to staying here too much! The place I’d like to return definitely!

We booked two consecutive nights. For the first night, due to full occupancy, we stayed in a MINI garden-view room. That same evening, the hotel informed us they would have check-outs the next day and offered a complimentary upgrade to a prime, first-line ocean-view room. The upgraded room completely blew us away! It was not only incredibly spacious but truly offered an unobstructed ocean view. From the balcony, we could face the sea directly and see the lighthouse clearly. We were beyond delighted with this attentive upgrade and the hotel's truly special service. We are extremely satisfied and will definitely recommend this hotel/guesthouse to everyone we know – it's our absolute top choice! Food delivery was super convenient, brought directly to our door. The hotel also boasts a private swimming pool, which was perfect for the kids. Plus, car rental was available right on-site. Essentially, we could manage everything without needing to leave the property. It was both incredibly convenient and beautifully located. The butler and all hotel staff provided absolutely fantastic service. We couldn't be happier!

Temporarily decided to come to Xinglong to play for a few days, and the hotel was booked casually, and the result exceeded expectations. Environment: Newly renovated, the first and second floors are net red restaurants. When I arrived, I knew that the breakfast was the queue to get the number. The restaurant has more than 500 meals for 3 days. The parking space is sufficient and free. Facilities: The whole house is smart, and the design of the moving line is very reasonable. Sleeping at night is very quiet. The most troublesome problem with staying in the hotel is that the sound of the central air conditioner at night affects sleep. This room is really quiet. The bath water is very flush, and the decoration of those chain hotels that definitely exceed the same price is very careful. Service: The service is also very good, all smiles and responds to requests. It really exceeded expectations. A small suggestion: bathroom hair dryer, install a shelf, no place to put it after use, the basin on the table splashed a lot of water, it took not long for the hair dryer to enter the bubble. In addition, the first night of the stay, because the fire alarm seriously affected sleep, if the hotel gave a small gift or a small dessert, it would be much more comfortable. I stayed at this B&B and someone swiped their card into my room while I was sleeping... I was disturbed twice! Summarize several advantages and disadvantages 1. The courtyard environment of the accommodation is really beautiful, consistent with the actual pictures. The B&B is also newly renovated, the sanitary environment is also OK, everything is very new. On the first day of check-in, I planned to take more photos to share. 2. The store owner's service attitude is also very good. When we get off at the B&B, they will take the initiative to help us with our luggage and check in. 3. The newly renovated room has a strong smell, which makes people feel uncomfortable when they enter. The air conditioner needs to be turned on for several hours for the smell to dissipate. 4. The transportation is a bit inconvenient. It is inside the village, and it is very rural. It is very inconvenient to travel. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the street at the entrance of the village, and 5 minutes by car (the road is especially dark at night), so you can only rent a car to travel. 5. Security and privacy are not high! ! ! If you are a single girl or two girls, you need to think carefully because there is no gate here and people from the village or outside can come in freely. 6. Combined with point 5, I was worried about this issue when I checked in at night. As a result, I was still sleeping in the room early the next morning when someone swiped his card and came in directly. (This kind of probability problem really happened to me.) We were still sleeping soundly when someone opened the door and we were really scared! The store explained that the cleaning lady was cleaning the room opposite ours and opened the wrong door. What I was thinking? ? ? So unprofessional? Moreover, she only knocked on the door once and didn't say anything. She just swiped her card to come in. And if it was the cleaning lady who cleans this homestay every day, how could she have misread the room number? ? 7. There is no safety lock in the room. When I stay in a hotel, I usually lock the room when I sleep, but this B&B doesn't have one. 8. When traveling, the first thing to consider is where to stay: convenient transportation, comfort, safety and security. (Additional information: The room is not very big, and there is probably no place to put a suitcase. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, but the toilet has a weak flush!!) (Additional information: There are a lot of mosquitoes on the first floor. When I turned over my clothes, I found a gecko coming in. When I went back home at night, I found a snake skin at the door. It was really hard not to worry 😕)

The room was spotless, exactly the kind of hotel I always look for. From the balcony, you instantly get a view of the huge swimming pool and swaying coconut trees – truly capturing that Hainan vibe. You can tell the hotel really puts a lot of thought into the guest experience. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they even offered complimentary welcome fruits. Getting around was also super convenient, especially with the free electric scooters available for rent. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Hainan. Just a tiny personal wish: I hope the prices don't go up next time, haha!

I like this B&B so much. It has an American retro style, is beautiful, clean and refreshing, and you can take a lot of photos. It has everything a B&B should have. The front desk lady is beautiful and kind! ! My partner didn't bring a laptop, so he borrowed the store's computer to work (a hard-working office dog). The service was thoughtful and considerate. The breakfast at the B&B was really delicious as described in the comments 😋 This is the most satisfactory choice for coming to Wanning. You can park at the door of the B&B. We rented a car and drove ourselves, so it was very convenient. I saw that there was also a charging station for the electric car. With the continuous development and construction of the surrounding area, it should be better to come here next time~ I don't write comments easily, but I am willing to leave a souvenir here.

I saw beautiful photos of this B&B and decided to spend a night in Shenzhou, Wanning. I was pleasantly surprised. The owner and his mother live the life I've always dreamed of. The yard is so tastefully decorated, and the treehouse at night is like a fairytale. Take a look at these random photos; they designed it themselves. If you love photography, feel free to go! We're quite noisy, and always worry about it when booking a chill B&B like this. But this place was surprisingly quiet. Even in the morning, a few free-range chickens woke us up, haha. Overall, the value for money and the experience were excellent. It's clear they put a lot of effort into running the B&B. We even unexpectedly enjoyed a barbecue the owner hosted for his friends that evening. The ingredients were all super fresh. The adorable little cat, Gungun, also won us over. I want to bring my baby with me next time! I hope the owner expands and expands, but doesn't raise the prices too much (2333333).
