Choosing to stay at Chelsea House was brilliant. We had come for an overnight getaway, mainly to see the new Hundertwasser Art Centre, enjoy a dinner out, and a driving tour of the area. Jennie and Tony greeted us on our arrival, and gave us a tour of their B&B. The house has an interesting history, but it has also been remodeled to make it a wonderful B&B site. Our room was spacious, and it had access to the veranda. In the hall was a refreshment center with coffee/tea, biscuits, and a microwave and refrigerator for our use. We had the use of a communal tv lounge, as well. Everything was very well appointed and supplied. Our hosts were glad to offer suggestions for our dinner restaurant, and we had a lovely meal. We were welcomed back that evening with biscuits and banana date bread. We gathered our goodies and retired to the veranda to read. The next morning Jennie greeted us with croissants, granola, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juices, butter curls and locally made preserves. She also offered to put the croissants together as sandwiches if we wished, but having them with breakfast was fantastic. This is a very special B&B, and the hosts are so gracious & welcoming. The bed was firm & very comfortable. They bent over backward to make our stay special. We highly recommend a stay at Chelsea House.
