Whatever to write about the Hotel Gołębiewski, one thing is certain: the glory years are behind him. Decorated hall, restaurants, aquariums, marble, self-confident service and the room is not for the needy. Room large, easy to arrange, but dirty. Gold stained curtains, stained carpet, peeling wallpaper. Two mineral waters, two writers and the end of the attractions :) Balcony with broken tiles, for the delivery of two glasses of champagne to the room you have to pay PLN 30 room service, no bathrobes, no slippers, two soaps and two shampoos in the bathroom, all for PLN 930 per day. I understand that the price is due to the reputation, history, and the costly chandeliers, but you could clean the room. Food very good, especially desserts and cakes, and here a big plus, but the drinks in the bar served by a tense waitress who wished me a tasty meal while serving the drink are simply weak. It's not about the price, but if I have to pay PLN 30 for a gin with a sparkling tonic, which is warm, it starts to boil in me. To sum up: a nice place for a one-time entry to the SPA zone, but I do not recommend it as an accommodation base. Not worth the money.

You know the saying "Dirt, Stench and Poverty", it is worse, this is a version for the busy people who do not have time for longer explanations. However, if you want a detailed description, please. I decided that, in my opinion, I will try to maintain maximum objectivity and it will be all the easier as I have been coming to the hotel for 15 years, year after year, and during that time I have seen its ups and downs. But this year has surprised me completely. But first of all: 1. The room ... we have been staying in the same room for many years because of its location and unique view. This year was exceptionally dirty, dust on the top shelves in the wardrobe, a large sticky stain on the side table and a horrifying yellow stain on the toilet seat. Dread to think who made it. Torn wallpaper. It took three days for the stench of cat piss to dissipate. The carpet was dirty so that you had to wear flip-flops all the time. And the famous brown stain on the curtain that we saw two years ago (last year we were not at the hotel due to a pandemic for the first time in 15 years). The air-conditioning did not work, but the heating in the bathroom was working and the weather was nice, so during our stay in the room we "smoked" all the time, the windows could not be opened because we were surrounded by smokers on the balconies, a massacre. 2. Restaurant, my wife for many years called it a canteen to my annoyance. This year I had to admit that "Red Restaurant" can be called "canteen" without exaggeration. We remember the times when each table had a neatly ironed white tablecloth, when the waiters collected dirty dishes from the tables, offered various kinds of drinks. Now it is true that there are dispensers with drinks, but the juices are very diluted or too thick, no one is in control of refilling the juices and water so that it has a taste. The best thing is the desserts, in the past, when there was a shortage of mousse (and there are several types of them), they were immediately replenished, now you should forget about it, as well as about cakes, good advice, make yourself a dessert at the beginning of your stay in the canteen, because later you will not have the opportunity. But it was before? I think so in former holiday homes where there was a first come first served principle. Dinners ... four years I gave them 5 stars in my opinion on Trip Advisors for all previous years, next year only 3 stars this year I would give zero. The food has gone bad very, very bad. I remember the times of great cold soups, all kinds of soups, tasty and crisp, every day there was a choice of different, amazing tripe, pea, always hot and tasty. And today, twice a week, I ate dill soup, as well as broth, the names of other strange soups I do not remember, but they were average tasty and cold, yes the soups were cold, once I found tripe but they were far from the old guts. Have you ever eaten canned tripe, that's the taste. The once famous stews from various species of animals are just a memory, and the same tasteless and sour salads for dinners, except for the cabbage salad (wonderful). But he was once

Luksus w każdym calu. Szczególnie polecam pobyt Bożonarodzeniowy - wszystko na najwyższym poziomie, począwszy od czystości w pokojach oraz w częściach wspólnych. Wnętrza zaprojektowane z dużą dbałością o szczegóły. Na szczególne uznanie zasługuję uroczysta kolacja wigilijna z wyszukanym menu i koncertem kolęd. W pozostałe dni również bardzo wysoka jakość serwowanych potraw. Bardzo bogaty program Świątecznych atrakcji dla dużych i małych.
