Hotel Review: Manxin Hotel, Nanjing
My stay at the Manxin Hotel in Nanjing was average overall. While the room was generally fine, there were some noticeable issues. The walls in my room showed damage from moisture, which detracted from the appearance and comfort. Additionally, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell from the unclean drain, and some basic supplies were not replenished during my stay.
On a more positive note, the rest of the experience was satisfactory. The breakfast was decent and provided a good start to the day. Despite the drawbacks, the hotel has potential with some improvements to maintenance and housekeeping.The location was definitely great.

Room is big, bed and linen thick and comfy housekeeping did a splendid job. However ventilation was filled with cigarette smell throughout the night. Reception very helpful to change a room but nothing much can be done as the structure of the ventilator can't be changed. Very contemporary statues for memorable photos at the entrance.

Excellent location for visiting the city walls, drum and bell towers and also the muslim quarter. Everything is within walking distance inkluding the metro station where you can take the metro to the terracotta warriors (metro + public bus) or to the high speed train station. Rooms are a bit outdated but still fine. The price is very good.

Not a good experience. Hotel room was very dirty and had hair on the bed sheets, shower tray and floor.
The pictures make the room look nice and clean but it was not the same upon arrival. Location is very close to the bell tower. Did not receive room upgrade that we were suppose to either but we wanted to leave seeing the room anyways.

Good location, walking distance to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower.
The reception is at the 4th floor, you have to go there for check-in.
Very various breakfast.

It's not a 5 star hotel but it was clean, the front desk spoke English and best of all the hotel is in the middle of every where. Walking distance to food streets, the bell tower, drum tower and Wild Goose Pagoda

The hotel is located strategically at Loumashi pedestrian street and Bell Tower. Muslim street is within walking distance through a pedestrian underpass. The metro is also close by.
We are also pleased with the service of Hotel staff as well as housecleaning staff. They really did their best. The hotel also had free self-laundry machines which we totally loved.
Overall, We enjoyed our stay here during our trip in Xi An.

It's a really convenient place. It is close to the metro station, close to the city landmarks and close to many restaurants. The facilities of the hotel are great. Everything is new and the room is fully equipped. I will recommend to stay in this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Xian for some days!

A very nice hotel, just a bit old this the lower price for it. I think there was some black stuff in the bathroom in some places. But we loved our stay, a very spacious room, a nice and comfy bed and and we got an early chick in after our train!!
