We had a great time at Xining. The hotel's location, staff and service were excellent. We had smooth and quick check in and check out. While they couldn't speak English, they did their best to understand and answer my questions. The view from my room (19th floor) was great. I thought I could take some cool long exposure pictures in the night but there were very big bright lights close to our window that didn't let me.
One thing I noticed was that the breakfast was mentioned to be both Chinese and Western, but it was only Chinese. I wish I had this clarity so I wouldn't have picked the room with breakfast. The entrance was not super convenient especially if you're carrying a lot of luggage. Since you'll have to help yourself, prepare accordingly.

Very good and modern hotel in terms of the quality of the rooms, cleanliness and confort. The only negative points were a bit of sewer smell coming from the bathroom, and the hight pitch noise from the 'oxygen regulating system' that wouldn't stop even if we paused the system (no way to turn it off). By the way what is this system for? We travelled much higher than Xining and never saw this !? Anyway, bring earplugs.

Location is good. Although not the newest hotel, our room was very clean.Breakfast was OK, nothing special.

The hotel is very good, the only drawback is that the room is a little small, it is clean and hygienic, the lobby manager took the initiative to help with the luggage, and the service attitude of the lady at the front desk was very good.

Overall it's good, very satisfied. When I was talking with my colleagues, the lobby manager introduced us to the second floor. There is a tea bar on the second floor with elegant environment and good service. It's very comfortable to drink tea and enjoy the scenery.
