The hotel seems a bit old, but it is well-equipped with facilities such as a swimming pool, fitness room, and laundry room. It is located right next to the Pacific Ocean and has a great view. The rooms are very spacious and the staff are friendly.

I give them 5 stars despite the awkwardness of it being under construction. The stack of mattresses out front and the limited restaurant and closed bar let me know that they were at least putting money into keeping it up, which you need to do if you own the Adobe. I don't know how the nails, wood, paint, and shingles regularly resist the kind of winter weather I saw it get pounded with while I was there.
The room was clean and free of strange smells. The mattress was comfortable, and the view of the crashing surf was nice. What really impressed me, though, and is something I meant but forgot to tell the front desk at check-out, was the water quality in the pool area. From someone who is in a related profession, bravo! Excellent, clear, clean, odor-free pools, very inviting and enjoyable for us all. You know what you are doing and it shows. Thank you.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well cared for, comfortable. Elevator worked most of the time. Restaurant had limited hours. Remodeling caused some access inconvenience and area clutter, but did not affect our overall experience.

Our room was clean, reasonably well-appointed and comfortable. The front desk staff were stellar and pleasant, as was the person overseeing the temporary continental breakfast area.
I was disappointed that construction -related debris was not secured in advance of the storm. While the winds were, unusually high management has a responsibility to insure adequate controls exist. There is the safety element of material not being turned into projectiles. In addition, mitigate risk of debris being blown all over the grounds and the cliffs, and ultimately into the ocean. This was not the case as I observed debris in the waves.

Hot tub was not working- one of the reasons chose this property. Huge construction work going on - no lobby, going to the pool requires going out of the hotel because of construction. Dining options are limited.

The property is being renovated. The restaurant was closed, the hot tub was closed, the sauna didn’t work. There was power outage, no lighting in the stairwells. Workers hammering away in the adjacent room well into the night. None of this was disclosed when booking and still paid full price. Will look elsewhere if I come back this way

Property was under construction so no lounge or restaurant, that we had counted on, they should have notified us by email, because it was for the week we were there. Telephone was not working at all to contact the front desk, and we are 70! No maid service, rooms only had wall heaters, was freezing in our room and took three hours to get warm!

The views of this place are spectacular! However, our room needed some love especially the windows that had screens missing and fireplace in our room seemed like a fire hazard. The plug that was going into looked scorched and the fireplace stopped working entirely after the first night. The food in the restaurant was spectacular, but the on the go breakfast that was prepared could have been better if they spent a little more on better quality items.
