Xidi Huiju Mobaili Homestay

I'd give this guesthouse a perfect 100! If you're visiting Xidi, Mobai Inn is an absolute must-stay. It's incredibly close to the scenic area entrance. I checked in on Saturday, and there was a 'Bench Dragon' parade in the evening that started right at the archway entrance, making the location exceptionally convenient. I stayed in the 'Rainbow' room. It smelled lovely as soon as I walked in, and the owner had thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning for us beforehand. The room featured a large window with a beautiful view of the lake. I didn't take any photos of the interior, but rest assured, it was impeccably clean. The toiletries were of excellent quality – seriously, the toothbrush was so good I actually took it home, haha! Besides hand soap, they also provided a bottle of lotion, which was an absolute lifesaver for me as my arms were peeling from a recent sunburn after a beach trip! The guesthouse itself is very new and tastefully decorated, with photo opportunities at every turn! The rooftop, in particular, is a must-visit for photos. They even have a selfie stick thoughtfully provided by the owner – talk about knowing your guests! At sunset, you can capture breathtaking shots of the village during golden hour. It's truly beautiful! In the early morning, you can also head up there to enjoy the fresh air and take in the views of the mountains and lotus pond. Highly recommended!

Great location with a fantastic view. The room was very clean, had plenty of hot water, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful – I'll definitely be back! The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking panoramic views of Xidi Village, and the air up there is wonderfully fresh!

The setting is wonderful, and the accommodation is very comfortable. Being situated right within the Xidi Scenic Area offers excellent convenience. From the terrace, you can enjoy panoramic views of the entire village. The scenic area itself is quite peaceful and not overly commercialized, with many art students often seen sketching. Overall, it makes for a truly delightful and relaxing experience.

The location is incredibly convenient, right at the very end of the main street, making it super easy to get anywhere. The owners, a couple, run the guesthouse with immense dedication, and the decor is clearly put together with great care. The rooms are clean and tidy, creating a truly comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. The landlady also thoughtfully provided recommendations for great shops and activities in Xidi. Overall, highly recommended.

The place was spotlessly clean. It boasts a modern decor, beautifully incorporating traditional Huizhou architectural elements while preserving the unique charm of a local guesthouse. The owner provided exceptionally warm and thoughtful service; we arrived very late at night, and they even rode a bike to the parking lot to pick us up.

I visited Xidi with my niece. The hotel's location was absolutely superb, right next to the main entrance of the scenic area. What really stood out was how clean everything was. The owner was incredibly kind and sweet, and even gave my niece a fridge magnet as a gift! The driver the hotel helped us arrange was also very friendly and welcoming.
