The water flow gardening and architectural landscape in the hotel is also very Japanese, quite advanced, and the visual, auditory and taste senses are all mobilized, and the unity of man and nature; the most important thing is the thoughtful service. The children are not worried about playing crazy in the hotel for a day. The children have many opportunities and activities to get in touch with nature, such as fishing, feeding birds, watching ducks and sheep, playing football and archery (the frogs and Call ducks here are all introduced species, which are said to be very expensive). The hotel management is very amiable, and there are golf carts to pick up and drop off people up and down the mountain. They are caring and considerate from the heart. My husband and I have time for our own world; after staying for a few days, there are rich activities every day, such as morning meditation, tea picking, moxibustion, free afternoon tea, infinity pool, barbecue at night, and night theater. The food in the hotel is also very high-end and enjoyable, and basically all dinners are in the hotel. The May Day holiday is quite relaxing, eliminating the trouble of crowds. There are also many entertainment projects around the hotel. Hongcun and Taohuayuan rafting are nearby, which is quite convenient. I plan to stay at Xiawei Garden again in autumn. It is said that there are different styles of scenery. I highly recommend it!"

"This is a great place to stay! It's a 300-year-old establishment, so you're literally living in a genuine ancient building. Located in Lucun, it's quieter and less crowded than Hongcun, offering a more peaceful experience. The Lucun Observation Deck is nearby, where you can catch the morning mist, sunrise, and panoramic views of the entire village. The owners are a family who moved here after retiring from their jobs. The grandparents are very caring, and the homemade dishes they prepare are hearty and comforting, truly warming both heart and stomach. Definitely worth a visit!"

"Very good location in Hongcun. Practically behind the Moon pond. The room is modern & clean. Floor heating works well. It takes a bit of time to fill up the massive bath tub (due to electric heating), but it's a heaven sent feature to soak after a long day of walking, especially in winter. The host is friendly & responsive. For price, quality, & comfort, we think it's perfect"

"The owner was a bit elusive, communicating entirely through WeChat, but they arranged for someone to pick us up and drop us off. The room was clean and had a small courtyard. It was very close to Moon Pond. We arrived around 6 PM, got settled, and then went out just in time to see the night view of Moon Pond. When we left, the owner took us to the roadside to catch a taxi and even helped us load our luggage into the Didi car."
