Yilan Toucheng Town 4-star Hotels

All good on the hotel. Amenities was great but they have washing machine and no dryer. Room was huge and view was facing the beach. Very nice resort feel hotel. Only thing was the location is slightly further away from downtown, Luo Dong so need to grab an Uber or cab which may not be readily available during peak period or holidays such as new year eve.

This time I came to Toucheng for a short trip and stayed at Lanyang Wushi Harbor Seaview Hotel. I will briefly record my accommodation experience. The first impression was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part was the balcony in the sea view room. You could see Guishan Island at a glance. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Starbucks, Baoya, 7-Eleven and McDonald's are just a few steps downstairs. It is very convenient to buy anything you want on the spur of the moment. As for food, there are two restaurants at the back that I think are worth mentioning - ”Leshan Ramen”, which is affordable but has good soup, and is a good value for money for people with big appetites; ”Shengshi Teppanyaki” is a high-end restaurant, suitable for those who want to eat better occasionally. Drivers don't have to worry about parking spaces. The Lanyang Museum is nearby, about a 15-minute walk away. If you are too lazy to walk, you can borrow a free bicycle from the hotel and ride along the way while enjoying the breeze, which is very comfortable. Overall, this accommodation experience is quite good, suitable for a short trip when you want to relax and eat delicious food!

The advantages are that you can watch the sea view of Guishan Island while taking a bath, and you can watch the sunrise when you get up early. The air conditioner in the room is very cold, and it is considerate to turn it on first and wait for guests to arrive. The late-night noodle stall's minced meat is well seasoned and delicious in any cooking. The breakfast is also pretty good. There are Starbucks and Xihuhui Quanlian Baoya nearby. It's small and beautiful overall, and a good choice within the budget. Disadvantages: Some corridors are super hot and the sound insulation is not good and it is a bit noisy.

Advantages: The parking lot is well planned, the dining environment is comfortable and clean, the room is tidy and odorless, and the counter receptionists are polite and enthusiastic. shortcoming: 1. The room near the elevator is close to the road, with poor sound insulation. I could hear the sound of traffic all night and couldn't sleep peacefully. 2. There is no separation between wet and dry areas in the bathroom.

The manager of the hotel was very kind and welcoming. She offered me breakfast in the morning, even though I had to leave exceptionally early. The shower was very large and comfortable. Everything was extremely clean. You can purchase whale-watching tickets or tickets for a trip to Turtle Island directly at the front desk. I will stay here again if I have the opportunity. The room and bathroom facilities were immaculately clean, providing a truly homely comfort. The bed had the perfect firmness, ensuring I slept soundly through the night. Its location, right by Luodong Night Market, makes it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is right in the night market. It is very convenient to go downstairs to buy food. If you are riding a bicycle, it is recommended to enter the parking lot during the day, otherwise it will be difficult to get in because of the crowd at night. The breakfast is not bad. Being in the night market, it is inevitably noisy at night.

The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance to Luodong night market. There is a 7-11 shop opposite the hotel. You can get your daily necessities or a coffee boost or light snacks there easily. However, the hotel looks outdated and run down and cleanliness is an issue. Saw many stains here and there in bathtub and on hotel room flooring. I even saw a cockroach early in the morning near my door, was shocked! The morning breakfast started at 7am but when I reached at 7.10am, it was already full and there was a long queue waiting outside. In the end, we decided to give the hotel breakfast a miss and went to the nearby Mcdonald for breakfast instead! What a waste though! Wouldn't be going back again the next time!

I chose Luodong Hotel for my trip to Yilan this time, and the overall experience was quite good. The hotel is very conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from Luodong Night Market, and there are also convenience stores nearby, so it has good living facilities.
