Karras Hotel

The standard of the hotel is more 3 star, definitely not 4. At the front of the hall we were greeted by a huge mold on the wall. The room was good, a huge plus for the daily cleaning, the only problem for us was the air conditioning which had a musty smell. The breakfasts are tasty but zero variety, for 7 days we had the same products to choose from. A huge minus for the tiny selection of fresh fruits (only bananas, apples and sometimes watermelon), a pity not to use the potential of this region. As for dinners, the region's potential has not been exploited here either. Not once for dinner there were Greek dishes, I think it is worth thinking about the idea of Greek evenings once a week. The dishes were often cold, even though we showed up for dinner right after the start. Some dishes were overcooked or dry by keeping them in the oven for too long. Pool very nice, clean. Balls and swim rings were prepared for guests. The service was very nice and the drinks at the bar were delicious.

My wife and I have just returned from 2 excellent weeks at the Karrass Hotel. Our first room was noisy from the music played by the pool and we were changed to a quiet room the next day, The two girls on reception, Georgia and Zoe were very, very helpful and accommodating. The food was good, we thoroughly enjoyed it (it's not the Ritz but we weren't paying Ritz prices) We had no complaints whatsoever with any meals we had. There isn't much choice with the cocktails but we enjoyed what we had. We would definitely come back we had such a good time here,

There is nothing good to say about this place ! The photos on the website are nothing like the reality of what you get! Do not book ! The bathrooms are disgusting and the breakfast and staff is nothing short of awful

NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL!!!!! The hotel rooms are not all how they look on the photos online. I believe they only have a handful of rooms that look like this. So, if you're expecting one of the nice ones, you probably won't get it. This was a surprise holiday booked by my boyfriend for my birthday. Once we got to the hotel, the staff member was not very welcoming, didn't show us to our room, or provided us with our ristbands, nor did he help with our luggage. Once we got to our room, the key did not work. When we entered the hotel room, it was apparent we had been miss sold, and the room was nothing like what jet 2 or tripadvisor said/shown. The shower was filthy, the toilets full of limescale, lampshades broken, and the phone in the hotel room didn't work. We were provided with no tea or coffee in the hotel room or even glasses. I asked the man at checkin if we were able to upgrade our board, and he stated they only do bed and breakfast because it makes it easier for them. On the final day, we were told of another member of staff who is lovely btw. Young girl with long brown hair that we could, and it would be an extra €20pp per day. They dont have any evening entertainment either which was dissappinting. The mattress protector was full of hair. The light as you opened the door doesmt work properly. We had booked 4 nights in this hotel and didn't have our bed sheets changed until the final night. The hair dryer in the hotel room is broken and has been all taped up. This caused me to burn my hand. We also had water dripping off the roof the entire time, so we weren't even able to sit on our balcony. We had no water for over 24 hours, so we couldn't shower, brush our teeth, or use the toilet. Once the water returned, it was brown, which meant we still couldn't use it. The website also states that there are a lot of amenities such as a gym, snooker, darts, and table tennis. We were never shown where any of this was or what we were allowed to access. We only had breakfast once during our visit because plates and cutlery were not cleaned properly, and the breakfast was very poor standard. It completely ruined our holiday

The staff - particularly the front desk staff, were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is located well and the housekeeping staff were fantastic. Wi-Fi, safe, air con inclusive in price but we needed to pay €13 each person upon arrival which was for tax purposes I believe. We had a kettle in the room but no tea/ coffee, this would have been welcomed because drinking a coffee at sunrise would have been lovely. Non slip mats in the bath tub would have been welcomed too because it was quite slippery climbing into the bath to take a shower each day. We paid for breakfast each day, this was a mix. The hot food options were luke warm, bacon half cooked, greasy and generally tasteless but the pastries, fruit and fresh bread were delicious. The pool was well maintained and sun beds were readily available each day. Inflatable rings, lilos and balls were provided so this was a great addition to the pool. I would recommend this hotel and I do think it’s more 3 stars than 4 and I would take my family back there again, should I visit Zakynthos again.

First time at this hotel , good rooms , brilliant staff , great pool area. Just far enough from main *****s ( 5 min walk ) to be quiet at night. Supermarket literally 2 minute walk for any bits and pieces.

The appearance of the hotel is fine, more 3 stars than 4. Cleanliness very good, rooms were cleaned daily. The pool was also clean. Ladies at the reception nice and helpful. We arrived in the evening and we didn't make it to dinner so the lady from the reception prepared a cold plate with food for us. On the day of departure we could leave our suitcases at the hotel and rest, it was also possible to take a shower after checking out. Everything would be great if not for the food. The breakfasts were still ok, but the dinners at the hotel were tasteless, unseasoned, and of very low quality. Stomach ache and nausea after eating. Food definitely to be improved. We recommend staying without or only with breakfast.

Greeted by a lovely lady who was helpful at desk. Very accommodating and polite. The hotel is clean and modern. If there were any issues, staff were approachable. We are very pleased with the stay and will be back. The pool was lovely and relaxing. We can’t praise you enough for all you did for us. Thank you 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🤍

Stayed at karras hotel end of June with a group of 3 other girls, cannot fault the hotel is absolutely brilliant, reception staff are lovely but the restaurant staff made our days, shoutout to Odysseus and the red haired lady sorry I forgot your name! Only issue is with security, we had a couple of noise complaints and immediately turned the music down however the security man at night is horrible and shames women! My friend a male, walked me back home to collect my friends passport as she had been spiked and at the hospital, the security officer then began to argue with the man and threatened to beat him up and then call the police. An absolute joke. Apart from that situation the rest of our stay was brilliant and I would still recommend, it’s located near lots of restaurants and corner shops and like a 10-15 minute walk to the main *****.
