Zante Calinica Hotel

This hotel was perfect for our holiday, it was quiet and peaceful, but not too far away from the main shops, bars and tavernas. The staff where super friendly, arranged our airport transfers and breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend.

Sat on the plane drafting this review…I will try to do the hotel justice in just a few sentences. Myself, husband & two kids (13 & 7) have spent 2 amazing weeks at the Zante Calinica hotel. We wanted to avoid the package holiday type large hotel, which lack character so we chose this family run hotel, with just 26 apartments & suites and we struck gold. It is run with passion, dedication & determination to make everyone welcome. We had the 2 bed apartment in the main hotel block, modern & plenty of room with a large wrap around balcony, stunning views both out to the sea & inland. The hotel itself is nestled just on the edge of Tsilivi, and in my opinion, the best location in town. Away from the traffic & hustle and bustle, but still less than 10 mins walk to the restaurants & bars, with the beach just a little further, no issue even in the August heat. The breakfast is a homemade feast of hot & cold delights, something for all. The daily bakes of cupcakes & cookies are a lovely touch, and the choice of homemade jams is beyond anything I’ve seen! The pool area was impeccably clean and never crowded, it had plenty of space & sun-beds always available. A quiet retreat (I fear we were probably the noisiest!!) with a well stocked pool bar, that offered delicious meals all day and my son’s highlight, a slushy maker with dozens of flavours!! It was our first time to Greece with the children, the Zante Calinica made it one of our best holidays. I would return in a heartbeat and encourage anyone reading this not to hesitate with booking this hotel.

Been here many times and improves all the time coming in august as a family but thought I would pop over for a chill week as had a holiday from work Usually stay in the plunge pool rooms which are very modern and have all you need for a relaxing break This time stayed in an deluxe double room on the first floor which ticked all the boxes very clean room nice modern bathroom and lovely balcony overlooking the town. Breakfast has totally changed and is wow all things that you need to start the day fruit juices lovely coffee and a variety of hot and cold food there is also a selection of cakes to finish off breakfast can been enjoyed inside or on the covered terrace outside Swimming pool is always very relaxed and more than enough beds and there is also a poolside bar to enjoy a drink during the day a nice simple snack menu is also worth trying and presented perfectly The hotel is five mins walk from various places to eat including bushis place and botantic garden and is also two min walk from the water park

The hotel lays in a quite place which is very nice. About the room: the bed was very nice, the room was also very clean. Luckily it has also Airconditioning. The swimmingpool outside the room in your “garden” is also very nice and clean. About the crew: everybody is very nice and helpfull. Definitely coming back here when I go back to Zakynthos!

I can not give this family run Hotel enough praise. The room we had was modern ,bathroom all modern with a lovely rain shower. The breakfast was amazing with selections of continental & cooked food ..Also really really delicious fresh home baked cakes and biscuits. There is a lovely pool area ( complete with excellent pool bar ) . Overall , Bloody Brilliant , and Many thanks to the family

Wonderful hotel! They really made our holiday a succes. Dionisis and Dimitra and their family doing everything they can to have a great stay at their hotel and always willing to give the extra step to help you out, no matter on which time you ask the question! Breakfest is made fresh by the familiy. The treehouses are even more beautiful and what a view over Planos/Tsilivi bay.

Just home from a weeks stay in this family run hotel. Stayed in a superior double room which was perfect. Daily housekeeping and plenty of towels and hot water with bed linen changed during the week. Breakfast was self service and plenty of choice. 5-10 minutes walk to nearest beach and plenty of lovely restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely stay at Zante Calinica hotel! Great location, lovely staff and breakfast. Room nice and clean, comfy bed and good shower - also had the luxury of the private pool which was great and really well maintained! Highly recommend 🙏

We booked Zante Calinica as a last minute holiday and we’re so impressed with the hotel, staff, location…everything! When we arrived we were welcomed and shown to our room which was modern and clean with a cute balcony overlooking the pool and a sea view. Breakfast was tasty with a wide selection and we were always greeted with a smile from the staff members. On a couple of occasions we ordered room service which was tasty and reasonably priced. The hotel itself is just around the corner from Tsilivi and a 5 minute walk from the beach, yet it’s location is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the town.
