Hotel Montana Zurich

Hotel’s location is so convenient. It’s max 7 min walk from the main train station and close to restaurants and cafes. Everything was very clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast saloon and food was great, met our expectations.

During my recent stay at Hotel Montana in Zurich, Switzerland, I encountered several issues that made my experience less than satisfactory. One of the major concerns was the lack of hot water for bathing, despite the freezing temperatures (-2 Celsius Degree) outside. After enduring a long 19-hour flight, not being able to take a warm shower was truly terrible. When I reported the issue to the hotel staff, they assured me that it would be fixed within an hour. However, they failed to provide any details on how the problem would be resolved. To my dismay, even the next day, there was still no hot water available. However, I also want to highlight another problem I faced during my stay, which was the uncomfortable breakfast experience due to the absence of heating in the hotel's restaurant. When I went to have breakfast, I expected a warm and cozy environment to start my day. Unfortunately, the lack of heating in the restaurant made the breakfast experience quite uncomfortable. The chilly temperatures inside the dining area made it difficult to enjoy my meal and affected the overall ambiance. I hope the hotel management takes note of this issue and implements measures to ensure a more pleasant dining experience for future guests. I hope that my feedback is taken into consideration, as I believe it will contribute to the improvement of the hotel's services. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I trust that necessary steps will be taken to rectify the situation.

The breakfast was okay. Location wise is good but the hotel room itself is not really fantastic, can be a good location but not for a long stay. Overall 3/5

Unable to travel due to passport stolen by pick pocket in Italy. Hotel management not allow to cancel the booking 😡

Its very near to the tram station, very convenient if you go to Zurich in late night. The facilities could be better. The hot water is not stable when having shower and the electricity is not stable as well, we cannot charge our electronic devices at night.

We had a terrible experience with Hotel Montana Zurich booking ************ Dec 29- Dec 30 on our last night of vacation. The room was freezing and only had a poorly operational small plug in heater to warm the room. Upon our return from dinner, we then discovered that there was not any hot water. The person at the desk came up to the room to verify that we in fact DID NOT have hot water. She said she would inform the manager in the morning, but did not offer us any solutions. We were both sick and could not bathe or properly attend to our health needs.  Since we had a late arrival to the hotel, we did not have the possibility of going elsewhere. This is TOTALLY unacceptable and I am requesting compensation for the less than safe conditions we had to be exposed to and endure. Thank you for your considerations.

The hotel is great and in a good location. There is supermarket near by and very convenient to go shopping. And the breakfast provided by the hotel is good and delicious. One thing is there is no air conditioner, it is a bit hot in summer. There is a Dyson fan but I think it is not enough in summer especially in the daytime. So far it is fine for all the experience.

The hotel is very close to Zurich HB. Decent room size. Has an elevator which is good for elder

Had a good stay in the hotel...the bed was a little compact but otherwise all good...location is excellent
