From late March to late April each year, Birmingham experiences a beautiful season marked by the full bloom of cherry blossoms. The cherry blossom festival at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens will be held on March 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., during which the garden will showcase a diverse array of cherry blossom varieties and feature exhibits on Japanese culture. In the city center, Oozells Square complements the surrounding modern architecture during the blossom season, while the Ikon Gallery will host an art picnic event themed around cherry blossoms. Meanwhile, the Batsford Arboretum, located between Birmingham and Oxford, offers its best period for viewing cherry blossoms from April 15 to 30, presenting not only cherry blossoms but also a variety of other flowers including magnolias, creating a spectacular scene.
