One hidden gem of my countries that I’m reluctant to share

#beachtime People talk about Maldives, Sipadan, Boracay, Phuket etc when it comes to beaches and diving/snorkeling. But I have another personal favorite destination, which I don’t share often. 📍Lang Tengah Located in the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia, it’s often overshadowed by Pulau Redang/Perhentian in term of tourism. But exactly for this reason, it remains a paradise for many people who wanna enjoy wonderful beach life with minimal crowds. 💞Reasons to Recommend: 1) baby shark 🦈 swimming by your side while you’re sitting down right by the beach 2) amazing shades of blue and crystal clear water, which is not inferior to Maldives/Palawan etc 3) stoney/bouldery beaches 4) rocky cliffs 5) the whole islands is small, which means all the wonderful elements are easily accessible by walk 6) cheaper than most of other similar destinations 🕰️ Opening times: Feb-Oct (Nov-Jan closed due to monsoon)

When combined with "TENGAH" (meaning "middle"), the name "Lang Tengah" is derived, which can also be translated as "Eagle in the Middle." - Island Area: The island is small and compact, and the surrounding ecology is well protected due to its small size and capacity. If you are lucky, you can see sea turtles laying eggs on the shore from June to August. - Island hopping: Generally, visitors go to Langkawi Island, which has a beautiful marine park and is a popular diving and snorkeling destination. - Beach walk: The island has white, fine sand and clear water, making it suitable for walking, sunbathing, and swimming. - Jungle trekking: You can explore the tropical rainforest, see the tallest meranti tree in West Malaysia, and enjoy the view of the sea. - Coral planting: If you have the opportunity, you can experience coral planting.
