Even if the restaurant doesn't look as cosy as the surrounding restaurants at first glance, the food is fantastic. We had tofu cashew and tofu basil. The dishes were very tasty. We ordered the Chicken Thai salad & Roll Your Own rice wraps and both dishes were so fresh & bursting with flavour. The food was so good we ate at the restaurant twice in one day. And a couple of times visited them for breakfast as well. We also tried Basil fried Chicken and Satay Chicken, they are also good. Won’t say it’s authentic Thai taste but they are definitely yummy and worth the money. Closing up with Deep fried Ice cream, very interesting texture. This spring is a natural fountain, and there is a changing area at the entrance for those who wish to bathe and cleanse themselves of negative energies. This temple is near Ubud and can be reached by renting a car or motorcycle. Since I don't have a motorcycle license, I hired a driver to take me around. It's said that if you're caught by the police without a motorcycle license, the penalties are severe. ❤️If you're visiting Bali, this is a temple you shouldn't miss. We were searching for a café that has cakes and found this gem. I had high expectations and was surely not disappointed! The cakes (we tried 5 different ones - pistachio cheesecake, lemon, belgian chocolate, red velvet and chocolate hazelnut) were more than good. They were so delicious I wish I could've eaten more.. The staff was really friendly and oh those mugs! What a pitty you can't buy them, because they're custom made.. Folk Pool & Gardens
One of the most favorite cafes in the Ubud area. The prices are neither too expensive nor too cheap. Indonesian food like fried rice costs 65,000 Rupiah and Ice Cappuccino costs 45,000 Rupiah. The price is very reasonable, considering the cafe's cool and refreshing atmosphere. The best part of this cafe is its beautiful swimming pool. Although small, you can enjoy the pool directly at no additional cost. You can even enjoy a beer on the chairs in the water while swimming. It's simply the best and highly recommended. The staff is very friendly to both local and foreign tourists. Please keep it up. If you want to go to this cafe, there's no parking. So, park in the Monkey Forest parking area first, then take the free shuttle bus. Tell the driver you're going to the Folk Garden. Then, wait for the shuttle bus to pass by.
