Introduction Paragliding experience in Fethiye

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Fethiye paragliding, a world-class high-altitude experience, flying over the blue sky and blue sea above the Dead Sea, feeling the freedom and magnificence!

Enjoy the rare mountain and sea wonders in the world: After taking off from the top of the mountain, under your feet is Turkey's purest "Dead Sea" - Oludeniz Lagoon. The blue-green water is inlaid in the jagged coastline like a mirror, and the white sand beach and pine forest outline a fairy-tale outline.  In the later part of the flight, you can overlook the primitive canyon landscape of Butterfly Valley, and in summer you can even encounter flocks of migrating monarch butterflies. This three-dimensional visual impact of sea, land and air is unique among paragliding destinations around the world.

Excellent weather conditions: The Mediterranean climate gives Fethiye 300+ sunny flying days every year. The thermal air currents are stable in summer and the flight time is long. The sea breeze is gentle in spring and autumn, and the visibility is high, which is suitable for smooth flight. In winter, some sunny days are still open, and you can enjoy the airspace with few people and beautiful scenery.

Strict standards and professional escort: Local operators strictly implement international safety regulations, equipped with double insurance equipment and experienced certified instructors. Paragliding operators monitor wind speed and visibility in real time, and cancel the trip immediately when wind speed exceeds the standard or cloud layer is too thick to ensure zero risk. In addition, some operators provide hotel pick-up, bilingual instructor guidance, GoPro full-time shooting and other services.

Paragliding in Fethiye is not only an extreme sport, but also a romantic journey of dialogue with nature. Here, every second is worth being frozen!

[Sunrise Adventure in Cappadocia]

[Sunrise Adventure in Cappadocia]

🇹🇷 Turkey, a country full of mystery and romance, and Cappadocia is the brightest pearl in this land. Here, I realized an important item on my dream list - taking a hot air balloon to overlook the strange landform like the surface of the moon. 🌍 Cappadocia, the name itself is full of magic. It is not only a World Cultural Heritage, but also one of the "Top Ten Earth Scenery". There are ancient underground cities, rock cave churches, and those breathtaking natural wonders. 🎈 The second time I came here, I chose to take a hot air balloon at sunrise. When the first ray of sunlight was sprinkled on this land, countless hot air balloons rose at the same time, and the picture was shocking and beautiful. I in the high altitude was deeply moved by the magnificent scenery. This is an unforgettable experience. 👀 Overlooking from the air, the strange terrain of Cappadocia is unobstructed. The weathered rocks are like natural sculptures, which make people marvel at the magic of nature. 🌅 Cappadocia, a place you must come once in your life. If you also have a dream, act now! Don't leave regrets in life.

Yason Burnu, Ordu, Türkiye: A Masterpiece of Nature

Yason Burnu, Ordu, Türkiye: A Masterpiece of Nature

**Yason Burnu, Ordu, Türkiye: A "Slow City" in the Lens of Christopher Nolan, a Place Where Time Stands Still on the Black Sea** On February 14, 2025, Yason Burnu in Ordu Province, Türkiye, welcomed a group of special visitors. They held cameras and wandered around the white lighthouse on the cliff, trying to capture a trace of cinematic art from the sea breeze and waves. This cape on the east coast of the Black Sea became a pilgrimage site for movie fans and travelers worldwide overnight due to rumors that it was a filming location for Christopher Nolan's new film, "Time Wrinkle" (tentative title). Its unique identity as Türkiye's first "Slow City" (Cittaslow) adds a poetic touch to this encounter between nature and humanity. --- ### **A Masterpiece of Nature: A Heavenly Place on the Black Sea** The magic of Yason Burnu is a masterpiece of nature. This cape, shaped like a sharp beak, resembles a dragon exploring the sea. The cliffs are surrounded by the sea on three sides, and the waves crash against the rocks, creating a magnificent scene. The Yason Lighthouse, built in the 19th century, still stands today. Its red and white body contrasts with the blue sea and sky, creating a poetic picture. Geologists describe the rock layers here as "a book of the earth," attracting scientific research teams to explore its origins. --- ### **Back to Basics: A Peaceful Life in a Slow City** Since being crowned a "Slow City" in 2018, Yason Burnu has been known for its commitment to a simple life. In the morning mist, fishermen still "sail a small boat," demonstrating the wisdom of living off the land and sea. In the market, elderly women carefully weigh hazelnuts and honey, creating a warm atmosphere. The local government has strict regulations: shop signs must be simple, and new buildings must follow nature. This philosophy of life makes visitors feel like they have entered a paradise. --- ### **Prepared for the Future: An Ecological Battle Amidst the Film Craze** Although the film crew remains tight-lipped, the traces left by the "Time Wrinkle" crew have sparked heated discussions. Fans speculate that the lighthouse will become a visual key to "time folding," while the surrounding fir forests and monastery ruins add a sense of suspense to the sci-fi narrative. Faced with an influx of tourists, the local government has implemented measures: daily visitor limits, guided hiking, and 20% of the revenue going to environmental funds. --- ### **Seeing is Believing: A Soul-Searching Journey to the Ends of the Earth** "This scene should only exist in heaven, how many times can one see it on earth?" In the lens of Berlin photographer Anna, Yason Burnu shows a dual personality: on sunny days, the emerald waves gently kiss the golden rapeseed fields; before a storm, the dark clouds and the angry sea clash. Hikers love the Çetinkaya Canyon, a 7-kilometer trail that connects waterfalls and ancient chestnut forests, ending at a viewing platform that inspires a sense of grandeur. --- **Travel Tips** - **Time**: May to September offers unique scenery, while February offers the spectacle of winter waves - **Location**: Fly from Ankara to Ordu-Giresun Airport (OGU), then take a shuttle bus - **People**: Enjoy Turkish coffee at the lighthouse café, and find handmade treasures at the Thursday market - **Environmental Advice**: "Do not neglect small acts of kindness," bring your own water bottle, and stick to hiking routes --- While the world races against time, Yason Burnu remains calm, turning time into aged wine. Like the romantic theme of "meeting you across time and space" in Nolan's films, this land teaches people that true eternity is not in the pursuit of fleeting moments but in the realization of "stealing half a day's leisure." The lighthouse on the Black Sea is like a riddle thrown to the world - the answer may lie in the wisdom of Yason Burnu's "slow-cooked time."

Beautiful Turkey

Alhamdulillah, in May 2022 i have chance to travel to Turkey for 10 days, i was so happy because i dream this country since Junior High school, first time i saw Pamukkale in travel magazine. I was wonder how it will look like in real. Turkey is beautiful country, with beautiful landscape, i love to be there and i wish i can go there again to explore more. If you wanna go to Turkey, just take the TL (Turkish Lira) from the ATM there, it is cheaper comparing to money changer. And for sure because Turkey is big, 10 days not enough to explore. Try to visit each city 2-5 days. I was too tired because i move almost everyday with bus to other city. It was because i travel with tour. So my advice is if you wanna go to Turkey, try solo travelling, you can use Couchsurfing to find some local New Friend to give you advice about places or public transport that you can use. But always be careful with scammer, and in some touristic places there is pick pocket, so where ever you go, just be safe with your bag, especially money and all document you have. Happy travelling 😍#turkey #wanderlust

IT’S A GREAT VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY!

We think this trip is incredibly affordable. (Yes, you read that right!) It is not the kind of vacation that will leave your bank account empty or the kind of trip that will take a lifetime to save up for. The cost you pay includes all fuel and docking fees for sailing, 6 nights accommodation on the boat, breakfast and lunch each day (including wine at lunch), and access to snorkeling gear, paddle boards, and kayaks. The price varies depending on the week you book, so make sure to check the rates for 2020 here to secure the best date for you. As of now, prices range between about $1,200-1,467 per person making it as low as $200 a night! #awesomepic #couplestrip #deliciousfood #cute #couplestrip #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool

Handmade Turkish Rugs Experience🇹🇷

Handmade Turkish Rugs Experience🇹🇷

#traveldiaries Turkish rugs, also known as Anatolian rugs, are simply one made in Turkey or the former Ottoman empire, employing the region’s unique traditional methods and weaves. Made with double-knotted and each piece of yarn is looped twice as it makes the rug sturdier and more durable. It also had a natural sheen that enhances their beauty. It is produced by forming rows of loops by knotting each pair of warp threads, arranged side by side in a frame, with wool, silk or rayon threads and compressing at least one row of wefts. With its various types such as one of its flat weavings kilim to hand-knotted rugs, these pieces turned into an industry and became the cultural symbol of Turkey in a short time. The technique that is used to craft a vintage hand-knotted Turkish rug is what sets it apart from all other options, and it's also because of this that no two Turkish rugs share the same characteristics. The material used in a Turkish rug is one of the most important criteria in determining its value. Natural materials are more durable and can guarantee decades to centuries of life for a rug. Authentic Turkish rugs can be categorized through the material used for their knots and can be either a Turkish wool rug or a Turkish silk rug. 😍It was a great experience learning about the history of tradition handmade Turkish rug and how the weaving process is made.

Delicacy in Istanbul

Baklava is considered the most popular dessert in Turkey. I was “drowned” in baklava bakeries that are located everywhere in the streets of Istanbul. The basic type of baklava is thin, stacked, the bottom layer is covered with condensed milk, then each layer is covered with a characteristic syrup with a small laughing chestnut (pistachio). Chestnut is a very popular bead in this country, and you can find it in most sweeties here. #summervacation#beachvacation#hikingtrails#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

EXPERIENCE THE BEAUTIFUL

Turkey’s rugged coastline was so much more breathtaking than we even imagined! It is full of lush mountains for as far as you can see as well as gorgeous bays and beaches. The waters are so blue that it’s even been nicknamed the Turquoise Coast! No matter where we were sailing to, there was always an incredible view to enjoy— it felt like we were living in a postcard! Spending each day in a different location is such a cool way to explore an area and really get the feel of the culture. We found Turkish people to be so friendly and welcoming, the food to be delicious and full of flavor, and the towns to be so unique and charming. We loved wandering the streets of the towns we docked at each night, and couldn’t wait to see what the next day had in store! #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool
