Introduction Pottery Classes in Singapore

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Singapore, this vibrant garden city, invites you to step into a unique pottery class, where you can start a creative adventure at your fingertips in the collision of urban prosperity and multiculturalism.

Rich course content: Courses usually start at 2 hours and combine Asian and Western pottery features. Local clay is combined with international popular glazes, and students learn to knead and throw pottery wheels to create works that are both ethnic and modern. Students will personally create multiple Singaporean-style pottery works in one class, and take away their works after graduation to continue their artistic passion.

Sophisticated class size and strong faculty: The class size is moderate, which is not only conducive to communication, but also allows students to share their experiences in Singapore, while teachers provide guidance, creating an active atmosphere and giving rise to creative inspiration. The ceramic artists who teach the course are experienced and may have different cultural backgrounds. They not only have superb skills, but also have a deep understanding of the aesthetics of ceramics. Their teaching methods are flexible and diverse, combining practical and theoretical methods to help students master core skills in a short period of time.

Facilities and Equipment: Flexible course times to suit all types of itineraries. The venues are usually spacious and modern, allowing you to experience the charm of the Lion City and add color to pottery. Pottery tools are available from basic pottery wheels, molds to advanced carving tools, etc., and there are various electric turntables. Multiple intelligent electric kilns, precise temperature control, efficient firing, and the rhythm of creation are met.

Singapore's ceramics are deeply influenced by diverse cultures, integrating traditional Asian and modern art styles. Students will experience the fun of clay modeling in the course, while gaining a deeper understanding of the city's unique ceramic history and cultural charm, leaving behind exclusive memories of the Lion City and opening up new artistic horizons.

Saizeriya II @Jcube

Saizeriya II @Jcube

Saizeriya, Italian concept restaurant. Though the feel is pretty similar but it is not all the same. This branch at Jcube slightly smaller but offers what other branches can offer. Decided that I will have a Saizeriya series documentation in my posts. Hence, I went to visit the branch @ Jcube this time. Portions are pretty good. The wings here are crispy, however, presentation may not be as good. The dishes are slightly more flavored. Yes, it’s still nice to taste. This branch puts more cheese in their margarita pizza. Worth the try!

Fancy craving your own pumpkin? 🎃

When it's October, and when it's the end of October.. what day is it?! This is Halloween..Halloween! I was pretty surprised to see different sizes of real pumpkins available for sale right now at Cold Storage. Last time, it would just be decorating scary spooky items around Cold Storage and just selling scary looking masks and a lot of tricks and treat items such as chocolate, sweets and even wands. Some do also sell children Halloween costumes too which is pretty nice to see. Even the chocolates from some of the brands are of Halloween designs to spice up this event night. It can be a great catch up with friends and family for some gatvering. #spooktaculartrip #mytripvlog

Towering over the surrounding landscape, this iconic structure is a true masterpiece of modern architecture, and an engineering marvel that is not to be missed. High tea session at Pan Pacific

High tea session at Pan Pacific

Visited panpacificsingapore for their new Japanese inspired afternoon tea during the weekend. Service was seriously lacking. I sat down at 1515hrs and my first item (my tea) only arrived after almost an hour. Coffee only arrived at around 1700 hrs. Almost 2 hrs after I arrived. DH got really grumpy as he needed his afternoon dose of caffeine badly. I understand that they are lacking staffs but the wait is horribly. They apologised a few times but, that was it. Putting the terrible service aside, food wise its still above average. All the items are inspired by the Japanese theme and I like it. The sweet treats are my favourite and I wouldn't mind having another serving of those. The sweet treats didn't give me any "heavy" feel after finishing all of them. I like it that they are using the Bacha coffee too. Bacha coffee has a very very pleasant smell and it's an excellent choice of coffee for high tea. Overall a little upset with the service but I wouldn't mind coming back again soon when their manpower is adequate. Until then, its time to find another afternoon tea place #moreinsg

Dine Feast Shop at Changi

#2023travelwish #tripblazers #mytripvlog If you have some time to spare before you take your flight from the Changi airport, why not consider spending some time at the Changi city point. Changi city point is located at the expo MRT station. It is just one station away from the Changi international airport. You can dine there with a wide selection of cuisine. Choose from western, oriental, Thai, to Korean food. There are also hundreds of retail shops waiting for you to discover. For my travel wish in 2023, I would love to visit Taipei. I would like to shop at their garment street at wu Feng pu, and then have some snacks at their rao he night market. Not forgetting the beautiful shopping street of Jiufen, and last but not least, visit the shifen to put up sky Lantern for good fortune and prosperity.

Dine in the skies @ LeVeL 33 restaurant

#exlporesgtogether #exploresgtogether #food #restaurant #momentssg LeVeL 33 restaurant is located in the Marina Bay Financial Centre, which boasts great views overlooking thr marina bay itself and it is located at level 33 of the building as its name implies. You can literally experience dining in the skies overlooking CBD area by choosing the outdoor seating, as the seats are exposed to the elements so it can get either very hot due to the sun or very cold due to the strong winds depending on the weather. And if it rains, you have to sit indoors. Despite the exposure to the elements, these seats are popular especially on weekends. Had booked almost 2 weeks in advance for outdoor seats. Do note that if you want the outdoor seating in the evening or night, a min spend of 50++ per pax is required, as obviously the views are nicer. It was raining heavily in the morning and was still drizzling upon arrival. But staff was kind enough to give me a seat facing the windows so I can still see abit of the Marina Bay albeit being blocked by railings. Had gotten a cocktail not in their menu called "give me a break", made of pink grapefruit juice, gin from Brass Lion Distillery and homemade pomelo marmalade, topped with gingerbread foam and comes with small pieces of ginger slices. Literally what I needed after a week of work busyness😌 love that they make their own drinks and the cocktail was zesty, refreshing and citrusy. Also got their recommended dessert apple crumble, made of apples, cinnamon and spent grain granola and brown butter ice cream. Presentation looks really unique and love the taste of the ice cream just like speculoos, and the crumbly texture of the crumble. Service staff have been impeccable from reserving seats to the wait staff; doing everything from wiping off the rainwater from the outdoor seats for the customers to being my photographer, even though I didn't order a huge feast from them 💯 Will definitely come back again but probably just for the day time view which looks great in my opinion; if evening or night, will just stick to the indoors unless there is a really special occasion for me.

Business Class on Singapore Airlines

#bucketlistreboot It’s my bucket list to travel on Singapore Airlines Business Class. The flight was from Amsterdam to Singapore on the A350 aircraft which is one of my favourite aircraft from Singapore Airlines. The seat is made of leather and very spacious. It has one of the more generous width compared to other Business Class in the market. Though you have to get up to flip the seat and make it to the bed, it is very easy to do so. The width of the bed makes me sleep very well compared to other seats. The highlight of the trip was the cuisine served onboard. The crew was very attentive and brought the next dish the moment I finished my meal. #singaporeairlines #businessclass #agreatwaytofly

Lebanese Food at Tabbouleh

Location - Tabbouleh Address - 54 Bussorah Street, Singapore 199470 Ambiance/Facilities - Great Lebanese interior deco Highlights - Great food and location is near Haji Lane Avg. Price per Person - $30 Rating - 5 stars A great place for middle eastern food. My partner and I went for a casual lunch and decided to try something different after strolling along Haji Lane. We chanced upon Tabbouleh and decided to give it a try. We had the Mezza Platter and Shish Tawouk for sharing. The food far exceeded our expectations and it was really great. We enjoyed them and will definitely be back here for more in the future! The location is great as well. It is right at Haji Lane and next to the Sultan Mosque. You could even stroll around and get some shopping done after the meal. #summervacation#urbanexplorer
