Semporna Island Hopping | Second Stop: Bum Bum Island

Heading to Semporna, the more recommended online might be the Madajing line, Madajing Island accommodation and so on, but, more recommendations mean more people, once there are more people, even the most beautiful scenery will be overshadowed, so choose the newly developed Bum Bum Island🏖️! 🛏Hotel: Bum Bum Island accommodation , really is a very leisurely resort, relatively clean, welcoming guests warmly❤️, more Chinese, communication without barriers. 🌟Highlights: 1⃣️The resort on the island can snorkel🤿, very convenient, and the sea water, beach are very clean. 2⃣️Along the dock⛵️, corals🪸, starfish⭐️ can be seen everywhere, even without snorkeling can see, take pictures, really too beautiful! 3⃣️At low tide, the dock⛵️ can also wait for the sea turtle, but remember not to make a sound when you see it🤫, otherwise it will be scared to dive into the sea, and have to wait a while to see it surface🌊. 4⃣️Watching the sunset🌇 on the dock⛵️, taking silhouette photos is very good. 5⃣️If you're lucky, you can see the red moon🌕 on the beach🏖️ at night. 📝Note tips: 1⃣️Girls bring me enough beautiful fairy dresses👗, different colors, crazy posing~ 2⃣️Children bring good arm rings, infinity pool play! 3⃣️Boys, well... responsible for carrying luggage🤪. 4⃣️The resort⛱️ is very formal, from the start of the boat at Douhu dock there are safety tips, after arriving at the resort, there are also video introductions, explanations. 5⃣️Welcome drinks must be drunk, miss it and it's gone. 6⃣️The restaurant's buffet is more varied and tastes better than the overwater bungalows on Mabul Island, so don't worry about not having anything to eat or not getting enough. 7⃣️The cold drinks🍦 in the small shop must be tried, each one is delicious😋. 8⃣️If you have a chartered boat during your stay, you need to tell the front desk in advance the boat number, provide the boat photo. 9⃣️Without leaving the island, you can almost fully enjoy the island holiday in the resort!

Sipadan Water Village Resort

#kapalai "Staying at Sipadan Water Village Resort was a dream! The overwater chalets were spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning sunset views. The diving was world-class, with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life just a short boat ride away. The staff was incredibly friendly, making sure every guest felt welcome. The food was delicious, with fresh seafood and local flavors. The only downside was the occasional power outage, but it didn’t affect our overall experience. If you're looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway in paradise, this is the place to be!"

Semporna - Malaysia

Semporna - Malaysia

Semporna + Tun Sakaran Marine Conservation Park 🏖🇲🇾 The journey from Semporna to this beautiful Islands is also quite time consuming. But really, I find it very worthwhile, and worthy of being the most beautiful beach that Malaysia owns 😊 With special terrain, the islands in the marine park are surrounded by a strip of white sand and coral, which makes the cape sea area, Sabah state, special. Maybe it's because it's adjacent to the Philippines that it inherits this beauty? And I had 3 extremely enjoyable and extremely satisfied days staying at Lato Lato Mun Resort among countless accommodation options in Semporna. Package for 3 days 2 nights Full Board includes 2 optional Snorkeling tours for RM 550 (About 3 million VND), a very cheap price when given such thorough service. Although there are still a few small places that I don't like, like the time there is electricity (6pm - 7am) and the food is not very special. During the days I was here, I went out to see the sunrise or sunset every day, except for one day when it rained in the morning but around 9am it was sunny again 😍 And just by putting my face in the water I could see starfish, many of them. here, followed by corals and a few schools of small fish, occasionally including small swordfish or herring The resort will cook seafood for you if you want to eat it. Meals in the package include chicken, crab, eggs, rice and 2 vegetable dishes with unlimited tea, coffee and orange juice. In the afternoon, from 4pm to 5pm, there is Tea Time with sugar donuts. And if I recommend any island the most in tour 1 (Bohey Dulang, Sibuan, Matabuan), it would be Bohey Dulang. You will have to climb about 1 hour of forest road to reach the top. But in return, the scenery is great. You can see the entire island with blue water like in the Maldives 😁 As for Matabuan Island, you will get Snorkel here. Sibuan Island has a long sandbank, clear water with only sand, you can swim or chill. This snorkel tour goes from 10am to 4pm before returning, so make sure you rest when you're tired. And what I see people won't do, but I want to learn more about, is to visit Omadal Island - a Local island with the highest population density of Sea Gysp (Bajaut Lau) people in Semporna. Go to see that life is still very lucky for you. Go to understand more about this special ethnic group...

Beautiful Semporna~

Beautiful Semporna~

Because it's so beautiful here! The live photos are full of life. I saw the jelly sea and went snorkeling 🤿 to get up close and personal with the swaying corals 🪸 and the little fish 🐠 swimming around. Wish list get ✔️ Tips: Share the island hopping route 1. Timba Timba Island - Mataking Island - Pom Pom Island Line Depart for Jambangan Island in the morning, where you can browse the island's scenery, play on the tail beach, and take photos on the island's popular glass boat. Then head to the waters near Timba Timba for the first snorkeling, where the underwater corals are well protected and the water visibility is high. Then go to the waters near Mataking Island for the second snorkeling. Go to Mataking Island for lunch at noon. The exclusive Mataking Music Beach offers a different kind of feeling. In the afternoon, go to Pom Pom Island or Pandan South Sea for the third snorkeling. 2. Tun Sakaran Marine Park Line Depart from the pier in the morning for a 40-minute boat ride to Pearl Island, where you can climb to the top of Pearl Island (Sleeping Beauty Island) to see the whole view of Tun Sakaran Marine Park. You need to wear sneakers to climb the mountain, and if you are not prepared, you can rent climbing shoes at the bottom of the mountain. Go to Mandab Bay for lunch at noon. In the afternoon, go to Mandabuan Island, where you can see many small fish swimming in the coral reefs for snorkeling/diving, and if there is no tidal effect, you can also go to the island for photos and a walk around the island. Then go to Battleship Island, where the water is clear and there is a long tail beach that is perfect for photos. The water is clear and there are few corals underwater, so you can start snorkeling. 3. Mabul Island - Kapalai Line Depart for Mabul Island in the morning to check in at the popular water house in Semporna, and arrive at Mabul Island to land at Mabul Island Resort (MWB) for 1-1.5 hours to visit and take photos. The water house here has become a popular island check-in spot on INS because of its unique architectural features, and you can take a picture without P-pictures. Have lunch on Mabul Island at noon, and after lunch, take a break and get ready to go out to sea for the first snorkeling. In the afternoon, go to the waters of Kapalai (Kapalai is a private island and does not land on the island) for the second snorkeling, and the snorkeling point will be chosen around the resort, where you can enjoy the beautiful sea water and the romantic atmosphere of the resort.

A beautiful getaway

It is located about 15 minutes by boat from the famous diving destination of Sipadan Island. This resort is a popular choice for wedding photography and honeymoon trips. Additionally, the resort is known as the birthplace of Miss Scuba International, an initiative aimed at raising awareness about environmental issues related to ocean health. Visitors can also see local sea gypsies selling their catch of the day. The island does attract quite a few Chinese tourists. All in all, a decent stay but nothing extraordinary. #kapalai#semporna #beachlife
