PWOhse: It's had a complete refurbishment. Everything is immaculate at the time of writing. 5 minutes from the train station. Check in from 1500h - Reception isn't staffed beforehand. Drop off key and self check out in the morning. Hotel lives up to its name. A clean comfortable lodging if you are popping into Macclesfield. My room was quiet at the rear of the property.

It’s Me Anto: I had a good stay with my girlfriend at The Tytherington. The only thing we were unhappy with was the food. It took about 1 hour to receive our food, and we were also told different information about the Kitchen closure time. Likely, we could give our order on time, but someone who was served after us was not able to. It seemed that on the day we visited, the kitchen staff was either short-staffed or had other issues. The staff behind the counter looked inexperienced, with only 1 or 2 who knew what to do, though they had too much to do already and couldn't assist. The view from their garden was great, over their golf pitch.

BobaFett: Stayed on 20 June 2025 I chose this place because I was looking for somewhere different to the typical hotels and BnBs during my Europe trip. I was more mobile with a rented car. The photos in the booking website did not do it justice as it gave a “******* castle” vibe but in reality is lovely and bright. In addition, the relatively low price and limited time to book. I am puzzled that it's ratings did not exceed 4 stars as it exceeded my expectations. The staff were warm, kind, and prompt. Breakfast was excellent, with the amazing view from the room, overlooking a meadow with grazing sheep. An added bonus: it’s located along the Grindstone Path, making it a perfect and convenient spot for hiking enthusiasts.

The infinity pool is amazing warm clean, Shrigley would make much more money if they served drinks while in the pool, but we would still be there now. The rooms are adiquate they are clean, the shower's are amazing, Dinning for evenning meal again was excellent, the service is 11/10 and I have been in a number of Spa the meal cost were really well priced with excellent food. Breakfast in the morning self service again pleanty to choose from and again tasty with great choice. It is a amazing spa with the ability toplay gold or have a number of treatments, and well priced, I will return there

This beautiful building is grade II listed known for its neoclassical architecture, expansive grounds, and unusual history. The site has been used a hotel and country club since 1989, featuring a large gold club, restaurant and bar, and of course the spa!! We did the twilight experience from 6pm-9pm, an excellent way to unwind in the evening. We enjoyed the fresh fruit platter and cold drinks by the pool. 🍹🍸 The Spa features a heated outdoor infinity pool which overlooks the surrounding Cheshire countryside - it’s just GORGEOUS on a cold evening. There is a restaurant and a bar, where you can enjoy snacks, hot and cold drinks, light meals and alcoholic beverages (we had olives, hummus and pitta, fruit platter). 🌞🏊♂️🫒 The indoor wellness area includes a large indoor pool, steam room, sauna, hot tub and jacuzzi. This interesting cafe is located on A537 Buxton New Road between Macclesfield of Cheshire and Buxton of Derbyshire in Peak District National Park. There are lots of interesting teapots and salt shakers in the cafe! The food quality is also satisfied too. As it is situated on the top of Cheshire plateau, you can enjoy scenic mountain views and find lots of hiking or cycling attractions nearby. The road section outside the cafe is so challenging and exciting that it attracts a number of motorbike riders too! It's very convenient to take the tram to the Etihad Stadium. I arrived an hour early and they let me in. There were two guides who accompanied me throughout the tour, although they explained things in English. Overall, it was quite good!

The house and all the staff made you feel very welcome and relaxed.The markets are really good and have a very nice vibe and the house itself is decorated very well with a different theme every year. This year it's Henry and the Lion! The gardens are also lit up at night so definitely go for a walk after leaving the house if you have time. You will need to book tickets early ..
