Danba Tibetan Village refers to the Tibetan village formed by residents living in Danba County. The Danba village was formerly known as Diaolou Village House. Diaolou and village house were originally two types of buildings of different natures. Over the passage of time, the two have been organically combined. In appearance, it has both the characteristics of village houses and the form of Diaolou. Diaolou village houses are generally three-story, and some are four-story, with wing rooms on one side. But no matter how the houses and wing rooms are built, the outer edge of the top floor is surrounded by three color bands of yellow, black and white, forming a major feature of Jiarong Tibetan Village.
