Hotel was perfect for us only 30 mins from Alton towers with many pubs and restaurants just a short drive away the hotel manager was amazing with my son after an accident he had will definitely be staying again
The room is not big, it is enough, there is no air conditioning, but the environment is very good, you can order food on the first floor, there is a bar to drink a few cups 🍺, there are local characteristics, very quiet and not noisy
We chose this hotel for its location and on site for our sons graduation.
We couldn't fault our stay. Arrived late and exhausted after a terrible 9 hour journey to a calm, efficient Jonathan who got everything sorted out quickly (thankyou!). He even managed to find us an emergency safety pin for the graduation gown.
Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, good quality linen toiletries and towels and plenty of storage space.
Hotel was full for Keele university graduation but was still quiet and calm.
Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice, hot and cold buffet choices, fresh breads and fruit. Gym on site, with a cafe attached to the hotel. Our son was also able to join us for breakfast the next day.Nothing was too much trouble for the team during our stay.
We will still use this hotel as a base for future visits to our son, as we were very impressed with everything.
Thankyou!

The location is very good and there are lots of things to do with kids nearby. The rooms and the entire hotel are very new. They have only been open for two to three years, so the accessories are very new. However, there are not many choices in the restaurant.
I dont mind spending money But £114 is over the top for one night and my breakfast was awful and the lowest i could think of ,and the orange juice tasted as if one orange had been used per gallon lol ,This is not the Ritz ,and a nigh**are to find for me from Lichfield town -I would stop here again ,but not too often

GGuest UserA great little place with a lovely swimming pool. Enough activities to keep our 8 year old daughter happy. Lovely family time together in a very clean and well equipped lodge.
JJGood location for Alton Towers, but not much nearby.
Service was mixed - duty managers were good and very helpful. Bar staff were average, breakfast staff were below average. They only have one member of staff for breakfast, which is not great if there are more than a few guests. They also charge extra for hash browns in the full English breakfast. The hotel room and restaurant were clean and tidy. Rooms do not have air con and the heating was on high, no way to turn down the radiators without assistance, but unfortunately the reception closes at around 10pm. Overall our stay was adequate but we probably won't be returning.
PPINGOverall, the price is good, very close to the highway, easy to drive, free parking, the hotel is on the 12th floor is a restaurant, things are delicious, the surroundings of the hotel are average, rooms are ok, 8-10 minutes by car Supermarket ALDI, 8-10 minutes there is a Chinese food formerly known as China Garden, now called New Beijing, the price is real, the taste is authentic, there are many Western food next to it. The restaurant is located in the town center. After dinner, you can see the town. It is very beautiful.
Breakfast is medium.
EExplorettaThis place was nice. The room was a little out dated but it was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The wi-fi wasn’t the best and the tv was blocked from connecting to the wifi so no Netflix etc. The staff on reception were very friendly.
We didn’t take breakfast but we ate dinner in there restaurant, reasonably priced and some good meal options and deals, it was a bit loud as it’s also a bar.
GGuest Useri booked this hotel again because trip.com helped me a lot last time. Nice hotel nice breakfast only problem staff needs training to how to treat customers. Instead of talking each other or flirting with security guy they can concentrate with customer.. i had my online check in and i called hotel to say we will be there 8 o'clock when we arrived there room was not ready one young nice lady came with a smile on her face and made kids sofa bed.
MMarcus SlaterAt check-in the reception staff member was more interested in watching football and I was told to wait they watched football!!!!
I did not sleep well as the hotel has a loose rope on the flag pole, told in morning that being loose since lockdown. All night a loud metal tinging sound.
The hotel has an amazing heritage and the room shares this heritage, I wish just the staff would book time off for football and did regular site checks every day. Lastly the reception is not 24/7.
