This is also the place where the most intact ancient Greek architecture remains outside of Greece. The whole site scenic spot is very large. Several major temple ruins are scattered, far apart, and the ground is full of stone roads, which is relatively difficult for the elderly and children. There are all kinds of plants, all kinds of giant cacti, apricot trees and peach trees everywhere. From February to March, it is just the flowering season and the right blooms. There are also many olive trees. And they are all very tall and huge. They are all many years old trees, and the main trunk is strange in shape. So there is a feeling of visiting the botanical garden. After visiting the museum, when the lights came on, overlooking the "Valley of the Temple", I remembered that Agrigento means "the residence of the gods", and suddenly a mythical sense of romance emerged.

I recently visited the Valley of the Temples in Sicily, and it was absolutely awe-inspiring! 🏛️ Located in Agrigento, this archaeological site is one of the most impressive in the world. The entrance fee was around 10 euros, which is a great price for exploring such a vast and historic area. The Valley of the Temples is home to some of the best-preserved ancient Greek temples outside of Greece. Walking among these ancient ruins, I was particularly struck by the Temple of Concordia, which stands majestically against the Sicilian landscape. The Temple of Hera and the Temple of Olympian Zeus were also incredible, each with its own unique charm and history. 🌄 Nearby, the city of Agrigento offers charming streets and local Sicilian cuisine that's a must-try. Don't miss the chance to visit the Agrigento Archaeological Museum, which provides deeper insights into the history and significance of the temples.
