So unbe-leaf-able! My friends and I visited the riverwalk third week of October. This is our first-ever real fall experience and we were in awe the whole time. It was a chilly the but the views were gorgeous. These photos don’t give justice at all. You can't possibly capture the essence of what I’ve seen on film. This Riverwalk is awesome. It’s so calm and peaceful. A great place for solitude. It’s also great for families, couples, walking your dogs, getting in your walk, or a simple reflection. This would be a great place to have a picnic lunch or dinner too. There are a few benches to sit under these colorful trees. Definitely a must visit place at the right season. P.S. Fall foliage season is always a highlight of the year for outdoor lovers around Maine, and now is the perfect time to plan for peeping the leaves this year. Whether in your car, hiking along a scenic trail, or enjoying a stroll along the waterfront, there are many ways to experience the spectacular cascade of colors that comes to the Augusta area every autumn. We explored Augusta, capital of Maine during our Fall Foliage hunt road trip and the view is fantastic. The city has been around since the 18th century and was originally a trading post. What once was just a small city is now a major source of art and economic inspiration for the entire state of Maine. Augusta also pays tribute to all those whose efforts resulted in its development, and this is visible in most of its historical sites and monuments. #fallingforfall
