Bagan Datuk 2D1N | Really Looking Forward to the Seafood Platter! 🦀🦐🦞
#springitinerary
Early risers got breakfast!
8 AM breakfast included: coconut milk rice, fried noodles, porridge; drinks choices were Milo or coffee. ☕🥥🍜
Before breakfast, there was a little drama—outside, the wind and rain picked up, and we thought, “Oh no, no chance to go to the mirror beach!” But luckily, the weather cleared and we could still go. 🌧️➡️☀️
#Twin Tanjung Aquarium (about 30 minutes visit)
Originally planned for Day 1 but time was tight, so it was moved here.
If you expect it to be a typical big aquarium, it’s not quite that.
It’s more like a small zoo with peacocks, rabbits, lizards, and other animals. Still a nice stop! 🐇🦎🦚
At 10 AM, we headed back to the jetty, ready to set off for the Mirror Beach! 🚤
The boat ride was about 20 minutes. This time we could actually step on the sandy beach and play in the water a bit! 🏖️🌊
All around us, there was no sign of any modern city—just water and lush green trees. Super relaxing! 🌿💧
🌻 Do you love sunflowers?
#springitinerary
If you do, then you’ve got to check out Bagan Datuk in Perak — home to the largest sunflower garden in all of Malaysia! 🇲🇾🌻
While it may not be an endless sea of sunflowers like you'd imagine, the RM13 entry fee is absolutely worth it.
📸 The garden is packed with super photogenic spots! You’ll find:
A floating bridge across the water 🌉
A stairway that looks like it leads to the sky ☁️
Huge, tall photo platforms 📷
A creative pavilion made by combining two boats 🚤
Even a ship’s steering wheel you can pose with! 🛞
✨ Pro tip: Go around 4 PM — the golden hour sunlight and setting sun make everything feel extra dreamy.

Bagan Datuk Trip | All Photos Completely Unfiltered! 📸✨
#springitinerary
I’ve been wanting to visit Bagan Datuk for a long time,
and finally made it happen at the end of June! 🎉
A trip full of activities and unforgettable memories!
Jeti Bagan Datuk: There’s a huge “WELCOME TO BAGAN DATUK” sign — a perfect spot for photos! 📍
Masjid Tuminah Hamidi: Nearby is the third floating mosque in Perak. In front was a “Pirate Ship Playground,” now unfortunately closed. 🕌🚫
Ah Hock ABC: We met an uncle riding around on a motorbike promoting local spots, and he brought us here. Enjoyed lots of icy treats to cool down! 🍧❄️
At 3 PM, we officially started the tour arranged around the island.
Checked into the accommodation arranged by the tour.
Took an electric buggy for a village tour (~30-40 minutes). Our driver-guide introduced us to Sungai Wulong fishing village, home to about 400 residents, 80 families, mostly Teochew people. 🛺🌾#PerakTravel

Buddy Trip
#deliciousfood #旅行酷体验
As a working adult, is getting more difficult for a gang of buddy to have a trip together.
Every trip with you guys is often simple yet full of laughter.
Knowing each other in the first place is faith, staying together for such a long time is commitment, loving each other and still able to stay as a gang is gods will.
We don’t need being luxurious but a simple trip will do.
Hopefully our friendship will last forever.

A DAY TRIP TO BAGAN DATUK!
BAGAN DATUK (OLD SPELLING: BAGAN DATOH) IS A DISTRICT IN THE STATE OF PERAK DARUL RIDZUAN, MALAYSIA. THIS DISTRICT IS LOCATED IN THE SOUTH OF PERAK STATE BORDERING MANJUNG, CENTRAL PERAK AND HILIR PERAK DISTRICTS IN THE NORTH, MUALLIM DISTRICT IN THE EAST, SELANGOR STATE IN THE SOUTH AND MALACCA STRAITS IN THE WEST
INITIALLY, BAGAN DATOK WAS SPELLED AS "BAGAN DATOH". THE WORD "BAGAN" REFERS TO COMMUNITY SETTLEMENTS IN ANCIENT TIMES THAT WERE BUILT ON THE SURFACE OF THE RIVER, ESPECIALLY ON THE BANKS OF THE PERAK RIVER. THE WORD "DATOH" WAS FORMED DUE TO THE MISTAKE OF THE ENGLISH IN PRONOUNCING THE NAME "TOK KELAH" TO "TOH KELAH".
