In autumn, you must come to see the yellow terraces of Huining Sifangwu Town and Sanfangwu Village 😍! The breakfast was terrible, the worst among all the Marriott hotels I have stayed in. The hotel didn't have suites, and they said we were upgraded to the best room. When we checked in, there were rooms nine and ten above, but it didn't matter. The room was of normal size, with the bathroom partitioned right in the middle of the room, so when someone was using the bathroom, the people inside couldn't get out. The window glass is not clean, which affects the vision. There was no welcome fruit, so I asked the front desk if there was any. I was surprised to hear that I had asked the western restaurant to send one, and it turned out to be a peach and three small tomatoes. This price includes breakfast and midnight snack, which is very cost-effective. Compared with some hotels that charge 5,600 yuan but do not open their executive lounges and have no alternative options, it is much better. The midnight snack was quite rich, including grilled fish, spicy hot pot, kebabs, ice cream, pastries and pizza. It was quite hearty. The gym and restaurant are both on the 3rd floor. If you don't have time to exercise when you go out, just take a quick look. The price of Baiyin Wanfeng is really good. The overall recommendation is 4.5. It is also convenient to come from Lanzhou. If you are lucky enough to pass by, you can come and check in. It is also a good choice if you want to book a room. This time I took a train from Chengdu West Station to Lanzhou, had a quick tour of Lanzhou, and then took the high-speed train to Baiyin. Prices are still cheap there. There are no tourist attractions in Baiyin itself. There is a Turtle City and the Yellow River Stone Forest. The disadvantage is that it is far from the city and is suitable for self-driving.

Although it's said that spring comes a bit late in the northwest, one can still find signs of spring while walking in the park. Look, the willows by the lake have already shown their green tendrils, and if you wander to the side, you'll see peach blossoms and green willows, exceptionally enchanting. The sun is bright, the spring breeze is refreshing, and it's a splendid spring scene.

According to the stone stele in the Red Mountain Temple, the grottoes were carved and Buddha statues were made during the Northern Wei Dynasty. They were renovated during the Song Dynasty. The local villagers expanded the grottoes and built the Great Buddha Hall during the Ming Dynasty. In the twelfth year of Wanli (1584), the grottoes were reopened and it took more than ten years to complete. Inside the grottoes, there are three Buddha statues of the Three Worlds, six Dharma Protectors, known as Kaiyuan Temple. In the second year of Qianlong (1822), it was renovated again. During the "Cultural Revolution", the statues and the door of the hall in the grottoes were all destroyed. After 1983, the local villagers raised funds to repair them, and the statues and the door of the hall have been restored. On September 13, 1936, Peng Dehuai led the Western Expedition Army to meet at Dalachi, and the headquarters was set up in the Great Buddha Hall of the Red Mountain Temple. Therefore, the grottoes were listed as a provincial cultural relics protection site in Gansu, with extremely high cultural research value.
