If there is a lake, it becomes a popular scenic spot; if there are mountains and snow, it is like Switzerland. As soon as you get off the train, you can see the Old Castle of Celje on the top of the hill. The Old Castle of Celje stands on a hill southeast of the center of the old town of Celje, covering an area of no less than 5,500 square meters. It was once the largest defensive structure in Slovenia and the residence of the Counts of Celje. Right outside the train station, there is a bus station with a bus to the castle every hour. I was the only passenger on the bus going up the hill, as many tourists prefer to drive themselves. On the way down, I was also the only passenger. I had the chance to chat with the driver. As the bus drove halfway up the hill, I saw the distant scenery that had a Swiss flavor. I mentioned this to the driver, and he started talking enthusiastically.
