All Moments About Cibinong
WASTUCOFFE | SYAHDU ON THE BORDER
There is something soothing at the border of Cibinong-Depok. Not far from Grand Depok City, wastucoffee fills the coffee shop gap in the Pabuaran Cibinong area. Slightly hidden behind sturdy walls, it is unexpectedly spacious and cool, surrounded by trees.
Afternoons clearly have a more serene atmosphere, but from morning to midday, Wastu Coffee is also a great place for coffee or even WFC. Open daily from 8 AM, it’s not just the back terrace that is well-facilitated with spacious seating. The air-conditioned seating area is adequate, and this indoor area includes a meeting room. Clean prayer rooms and toilets are available.
Another unexpected aspect is the quality of the coffee. They use arabica coffee for both classic coffee and milk coffee. Currently, they use beans sourced from one of the guaranteed good coffee roasteries, Fugol from Bandung. I was immediately excited to order an iced americano plus a Japanese iced coffee--there’s a slow bar in the coffee bar corner. I also ordered iced coffee milk, known as es kopi Wastu, and a non-coffee drink that looks interesting, matcha berry. Beverage prices range from 20-30 thousand rupiahs, which I find very reasonable considering the quality of the coffee used.
The menu features a variety of heavy and light meals. I really like the crispy cireng and the sweet fried bananas. In the heavy meals section, there are various rice and noodle dishes as well as spaghetti. The nasi jeruk ayam bumbu bali and omurice chicken katsu were our choices to spend the afternoon until evening at Wastu Coffee.

TIGAMAKNA | THE DUSK VIBE IS ON
The evening vibe is the most serene in Cibinong. Bright lights shine from every corner of tigamakna, illuminating the fountain in the center of the café, which is slightly hidden from the hustle and bustle of Pakansari Stadium.
Marking my second visit to Tiga Makna Coffee, the evening sky was a bit cloudy but it didn’t diminish the serenity of the atmosphere. My friends couldn't stop exploring the two-floor café area to capture the ambiance, even after maghrib. The outdoor seating area is more spacious, but there is also an air-conditioned indoor area with four tables near the coffee bar. Other facilities are adequate, such as parking and a prayer room.
Coffee lovers will be delighted with the variety of milk coffees available. There is a palm sugar flavor, and a special butterscotch sea salt flavor. But don't just come for the coffee. Tiga Makna has some very tasty snacks. The cheesy cassava and tofu meatballs are our top favorites. The cheesy cassava—also available in the original version without toppings—is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, as you can see in this Reel.
Then there’s the tofu meatballs, which have become my new favorite. In terms of texture and taste, they resemble siomay or otak-otak more than traditional meatballs, which is different from others but in a good way for me. They are savory and delicious even without dipping into sauce. My friends and I even packed several portions to take home. For those looking for a heavier meal, there are options including the signature bakmie godog.

The Asmara Cafe Enjoy
From an express outlet in Cibinong, to a moving bar, now The Asmara operates a study & working space in Depok, precisely at Grand Taman Melati Margonda 2. The Asmara occupies the lobby also behind and above the lobby. Those who want to open their laptops quietly, the sitting room in front of the bar and the sitting room above it are ready for use. So a favorite is the upper sitting area which features bean bags and a short table. You can lie down if you are tired of staring at the laptop. For those who want to drink coffee while breathing free air, you can go to the back of the apartment. Even during the day sitting in the back is not hot, because the stands are protected by trees. The Asmara Study & Working Space provides drinks and food to accompany studying, working, and hanging out.

Dora Lake
In terms of nuance, as people may expect, Dora Lake Eco Park looks serene and exotic. One thing, it is not suitable for swimming due to its depth and murky water. Instead, tourists can take advantage of available facilities like a wooden pier, gazebos, etc. The lake is surrounded by green shady trees and grassy landscape as well, creating a soothing nuance to the site. When it comes to history, this eco-park has been there since 2002! What about the name? Well, during the construction, several local kids played around in the area carrying Dora the Explorer doll. Thus, the management gave such cartoon character’s name to their lake.
The next thing to do in Dora Lake is to learn the importance of the environment. After all, the local government manages the site as an eco-park instead of a vacation destination. They use the site to watch and research natural ecosystems, which is also accessible for tourists.

Bidadari W
Bidadari Waterfall has a height of about 50 meters. In addition to admiring the beauty of the waterfall, visitors can also play water with the family. Under the Bidadari Waterfall there is a swimming pool for children which has a depth of 30 cm and a swimming pool for adults which has a depth of 1.5 meters. Management of the park provides buoys that can be rented at affordable prices. According to legend, the waterfall is the bathing place of the angels. That’s why the name is Bidadari Waterfall (Angel Waterfall). Bidadari Waterfall is situated in Sentul Paradise Park. Along the journey to the waterfall, the eye will be feasted with stunning panoramic view.
