Open today at 10:00-21:00 (admission ends at 20:15)
Marcusluvandroid:“Taipei 101 is undeniably one of the most iconic landmarks in Taiwan and a must-visit for anyone traveling to Taipei. The panoramic views from the observatory are absolutely breathtaking — but only if the weather cooperates. Be sure to check the weather forecast before heading over; visiting on a foggy day can mean you end up staring into a wall of clouds instead of the city skyline. Aim for a clear day to get the best experience. It’s also a good idea to go in the morning or early evening, as the afternoon hours can get quite crowded with tour groups. Despite the crowds, the visit is still very much worth it. Taipei 101 isn’t just about the view — the tower also features interesting and well-presented educational exhibits about the building’s unique engineering, especially its mass damper system, which helps stabilize the skyscraper during earthquakes and typhoons.”
Linas Zaltauskas:“Easy to use and save you time as you don't need to wait in line to buy a ticket. Overall experience was okay but not spectacular. Observatory for me personally was not worth it as you see the same view. There are many nice decorations to make a picture for Instagram, etc, but I don't do that on my trips, so it depends on your personality to visit observatory or not.”
strong钟:“Jiufen Old Street is in Ruifang District, Xinbei City. In the northeast of Taipei, it takes 1.5 hours to take a bus from downtown Taipei. Jiufen is a mini mountain city surrounded by mountains and seas. Except for mountains and seas, the other is no different from the old streets of the ancient town. There are shops on both sides of the street, selling milk tea drinks, tea cakes, fish production, coffee shops, homestays, and grocery stores. Dried bean buns and red meat rounds are very good. Amei Tea House is a landmark, crossing the old street with Jianqi Road. There are many tourists and no tickets.”
Open today at 09:00-17:00 (admission ends at 16:00)
Jamie Daniel Ali:“Best combo ticket ever! You can visit the Taipei zoo, cable cars and the Taipei 101 observation deck. Buy online and receive three QR codes, one for each place. Really efficient and great value for money!”
amasing:“A museum in a very beautiful location and a building with a story.
Carefully tells the story of the small island's vicissitudes of life, flowers, birds, fish and insects.
Whether it is children or adults, coming here is a good experience.
Outside is the 228 Memorial Park, which is rich in greenery and full of fun.”
Open today at 09:30-12:00(Tickets available until 11:50; admission ends at 11:50)
amasing:“Shilin Residence is a large park with a Chiang and Song Dynasty Former Residence Exhibition Hall.
The former residence shows the stories of Chiang and Song Dynasty's daily living space.
The park is open all year round, and the former residence has a one and a half hour break at noon every day.
The staff are super enthusiastic and strongly recommend us to rent a free audio guide, stamp the special small seal, and take photos for us.
It is more cost-effective to buy tickets on Ctrip! It is more cost-effective to buy a joint ticket for the Forbidden City.”

老吴华哥:“Auntie Gan’s Taro Balls is the oldest taro ball shop in Jiufen. All products are handmade. Fresh, soft Dajia taro is steamed until it is fine and fluffy, and then mixed with cornstarch. No water is added during the production process to maintain the fragrant and chewy taste.”
Kevin:“This is a popular store on Jiufen Old Street. Many people buy there, but I think the ones made in Taipei Night Market are still better, and they give more ice cream. The peanuts here in Taiwan are very fragrant.”
没有蜡olling:“Jiufen Old Street is a mountain town full of red lanterns, mysterious and familiar. Freeze the classic scene in your camera and try the old street delicacies: Grandma Lai's taro balls, peanut ice cream rolls, and the big sign of the little master. It's delicious and recommended.”
suifeng2019:“The old shop of Fish Ball Bozai in Jiufen Old Street is doing a booming business. The fish ball soup is a must-order. The fish balls are hand-made by the boss on the spot, which are chewy and not sticky. The soup is delicious and you will feel warm after drinking a bowl. The tofu buns are quite good.”
zhangfeifei:“Jiufen traditional fish balls are unique and special. Fish balls are made by mincing fish meat, adding condiments or stuffings, squeezing them into small balls, and boiling them in water. They are nutritious and delicious, and everyone who has tasted them will praise them.”
chaojile:“A-Mei Tea House is very famous in Jiufen. Its antique Japanese-style architecture, excellent viewing position, and the aura of a calm girl make it a place that attracts tourists all the time, whether on weekdays or holidays. Its tea-making culture is an experience not to be missed.”
quqky:“I stayed in Jiufen for three days, and had afternoon tea here every day. It wasn't strictly afternoon tea, but there were some drinks and pastries, which I thought was okay.”

Grandma’s Fish Soup is located at the entrance of Jiufen Old Street and can be seen almost at a glance; just like the word fish soup, one can almost think of Soup Spoon Soup.
Although grandma is old, her hands were still as good as jade. My grandma’s name is Ayun. Does this name remind me of white clouds fluttering?
Grandma’s Fish Soup is also known as “Ayun Traditional Cut Noodle Shop” or “Grandma’s Fish Soup and Fish Balls”.
A Yun, a no-brainer, opened a shop in the 1950s. She went to the market to buy fresh sharks, rolled the fish meat into long strips of fish soup, put it into boiling soup, and made it by herself for decades... A Yun's little sister has now become A Yun's grandma.
The fish soup tastes good, and the fish balls are also quite delicious.
I don’t know how to replace the word Q in the southern Fujian pronunciation with a Chinese character, which is quite flexible.
With the development of tourism, other local simple dishes are also available in the store, such as fish noodles, dry noodles, and braised pork rice.
In my heart, Fuzhou on the other side of the strait also likes Fuzhou fish balls.
For example, the "Five Blessings" at Yonghe Fish Ball Shop in Sanfang Qixiang, the fish balls in fish soup has always been one of the favorite local snacks, and you can never get tired of trying it.
As soon as I thought about it, I remembered two ancient poems about soup and spoons:
Wang Jian of the Tang Dynasty's "Ci of the Bridegroom": Go to the kitchen for three days, wash your hands and make soup. I'm not familiar with my aunt's eating habits, so I sent my sister-in-law to taste it first.
"Early Winter Quatrains" by Lu You of the Song Dynasty: Since ancient times, masters have despised wealth and status, but fell in love with the local flavor and recalled their hometown. The crispy soup of seabass with fat and wild rice is delicious, and the freshly cooked buckwheat oil makes the cake fragrant.”
没有蜡olling:“Record your visit.
The restaurant we ate at was "Jin Zhi Hong Zhi Meat Balls" (note ⚠️ it was the one in the middle or back section when you walked in, not the two in the front). The items we ordered included meat balls, flower ball soup, and golden kimchi ball soup.
Maru's selfie spot is next to Amei Tea House, and the stop sign seats are also nearby. After visiting Jiufen, you can take 1062 directly to Raohe Night Market at Songshan Station. ”
新-云:“At first glance, I thought it was a Qingtuan. Did I buy... meat? I don't know what the filling is... The taste is really unexpected, sweet and salty, and it's delicious. Several flavors look good, and I suddenly have a hard time choosing. Anyway, it's not big and not expensive, so I just try one of each flavor.
I couldn't help but move to an open space with few people and quickly opened a piece to try. The green skin is wrapped with fillings in the middle. The texture is soft and sticky, and it doesn't stick to your teeth. The skin has no taste, and it depends entirely on the fillings in the middle. Later, I checked and found out that the green skin is because of the use of Artemisia selengensis mixed with glutinous rice and flour. It is said that it was only available around the Qingming Festival in the past.”
没有蜡olling:“Jiufen's red yeast rice meatballs are made by mixing rice flour with starch to make a paste, then making a base on the mold, adding marinated meat pieces and then using the paste to wrap the dough. The whole process is like a mason's meticulous craftsmanship. Put the meatballs into the steamer and steam them until cooked, then mix them with seasonings to make red yeast rice meatballs. The most famous one in Jiufen is Aying's.”
没有蜡olling:“Met countless Japanese and Korean groups and checked in at tourist spots in the crowded crowds
Jiufen is indeed a place worth visiting. It would be even better if it didn't rain today
I accidentally bought a super delicious black pork sausage. I was amazed by the taste and found out that it was also a recommended store [good] It was so delicious that we went back the same way and bought three more [laughing cry]
Although Lai's taro balls are soft, the taro balls themselves are not flavorful. I personally don't recommend it~
Ai Ganyi's taro balls, which are a little further away, are really delicious! ! Each piece is flavorful and distinct, the ingredients are real, and the taste is soft and sticky! ! Highly recommended”
