This was such a joyful trip—3 days and 2 nights in Penang, Malaysia. The people were lovely, the food was delicious, and everything was just perfect. I felt so happy during those 3 days; it felt like only 3 hours had passed. If I get the chance, I’ll definitely visit again. The food is so easy to find, and almost every restaurant serves amazing dishes. We tried almost all the famous spots. If I’m still with my partner next year, we’ll go again. Even if I have to travel alone, it’s worth it. Truly impressed! Out of all the places I’ve visited in Malaysia, Penang is my favorite.

It was a trip to Penang, Malaysia 🇲🇾We kicked off our trip in Penang by exploring the vibrant streets of George Town 😍 The heritage area is filled with colorful street art, and we found it to be a photographer’s paradise 🙌 The street art here tells stories of the city’s past and offers some of the most Instagram-worthy shots. Be sure to visit the famous murals like “Children on a Bicycle” 🚲 by Ernest Zacharevic. Afterward, we wandered down to the Clan Jetties, a unique spot where wooden houses are built over the water. Kek Lok Si Temple features the 'Pagoda of Ten Thousand Buddhas', a seven-story pagoda with the bottom two levels designed in a Chinese octagonal style, the middle three levels in a Thai white pagoda style, and the top two levels in a Burmese golden stupa style. It is a rare architectural design that combines elements from Chinese, Thai, and Burmese pagodas. Located in the suburbs of George Town, Kek Lok Si Temple is often visited together with Penang Hill. The most convenient way to get there is by Grab, but it can be difficult to get a ride from the top of the temple, so it's best to walk down to the base of the hill.
