Rengganis Suspension Bridge is a new natural tourist attraction managed by a group from Glamping Lakeside Rancabali, Ciwidey. You can visit just for the suspension bridge or stay overnight at Glamping Lakeside Rancabali. They have 2 types of tickets: Regular tickets for IDR 75,000, which cover only the suspension bridge and Rengganis Crater. The ticket I chose is the VIP ticket costing IDR 100,000. In my opinion, the VIP ticket is more worthwhile because it includes entrance fees to nearby attractions such as Phinisi Resto, Rabbit Hill, Balcone Spide, Phinisi Bridge, and more. Both tickets include hot sweet tea or hot coffee at their restaurant. Amazing view of Malabar Tea Plantation. The crowd can be highly packed 11AM onwards so better to come during the weekdays or early morning. Access was quite far from Bandung city, around 2 hours. Beware of some bumpy roads especially when it’s raining. Food was just OK, I didn’t tried many. ATV was a painful experience. Waited for more than 40mins bcs of two groups. Bad traffic management, bad queue, and uncomfortable waiting area. Helpful staff. Toilet was clean in the morning but when the crowd gets in, you can’t expect much #wecreate

This stunning active volcano is pretty much on everyone’s Bandung bucket list and one of the prime Bandung attractions. Located just 30 kms from the North towards Lembang, it’s the perfect day trip from Bandung or even a picnic spot to enjoy with family or friends. I went there several times to gawk at the smoky crater and enjoy amazing weather up in the mountains. You can even choose to hike Tangkuban Perahu volcano – I have heard it is arduous and honestly never tried it myself. The 2-hour hike does reward you with a refreshing hot water spring but a lot of sulfur fumes as well. This time, I went to Bandung, known as Indonesia's Karuizawa, which is cooler than Jakarta and popular among locals as a summer resort 🍃 🚃 How to get there: 　From Jakarta to Padalarang Station by Woosh in 30 minutes 　→ From Padalarang Station to Bandung Station by local train in about 30 minutes 🎡 Tourist spots: ・Kawah Putih A volcanic lake with melted sulfur located about an hour and a half by car from Bandung city You can get very close to the sulfur lake, a unique experience in Indonesia 🇮🇩, but since sulfur is harmful to the body, it is recommended to stay for about 15 minutes! ・Rengganis Suspension Bridge A local tourist spot about 15 minutes by car from Kawah Putih Crossing the long, swaying suspension bridge leads to a sulfur hot spring The temperature is about 40 degrees Celsius, and it’s nice to soak your feet in it ♨️ ・Asia-Africa Conference Museum A museum located on the popular Braga Street in Bandung city The site where the famous Asia-Africa Conference was held The conference was held in 1995 to strengthen cooperation among the Third World powers, and you can learn about the diplomatic history with ASEAN countries 📚 Admission was free! 🏨 Hotel: Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers Located about 15 minutes by car from Braga Street The hotel's decor creates a resort atmosphere, making it perfect for a relaxing hotel stay in a summer resort ◎ Also, the hotel has many activities such as pony riding, badminton, and a playground for small children, giving the impression that many families stay here! 🥘 Food & Restaurants: ・Braga Permai A restaurant with retro decor that retains the atmosphere of the Dutch era You can enjoy Western dishes such as Dutch cuisine, pasta, and pizza! If you have time, please visit! That was a very satisfying one-night, two-day trip to Bandung! One of the coffee shops with the most beautiful coffee bar design ever, it's called @lebakcaringin which is located in Dago Atas. This linear coffee bar, made from metal plates, is surrounded by semi-indoor seating that faces directly onto the cityview. Hidden cozy coffeeshop that occupies an old building in Dago Bandung. The place is quite spacious and consists of indoor areas and backyard areas which are equally comfortable. Really like the vintage feel presented here, makes me visually feel at home. After visiting Kawah Putih, I headed to Situ Patenggang Lake. The drive took about 30 minutes, and I reached the lake just as the sun was higher in the sky. The view was beautiful, with clear blue water surrounded by green hills and tea plantations. I walked around the lake, taking in the peaceful atmosphere. The gentle breeze and the sound of the water made me feel relaxed. I went to the ‘Batu Cinta’ or ‘Love Stone’ area, which is known as the heart of the lake. Standing there, I could see the whole lake and the small island in the middle called ‘Pulau Asmara.’ The story behind the love stone and the island made the place feel special and magical.

For the entrance ticket 40K IDR per person, parking 8K IDR for motorbikes, children 2 years old do not pay a ticket, rent a mat 25K IDR, for all pool areas, there are rinsing places and toilets, some are paid and free, there is a prayer room and a large parking area, before entering the entrance there are many small stalls selling snacks and heavy meals as well as some selling souvenirs. Situ patenggang is really nice. Place is a bit chilly. If you came during weekend or their Hari Liburan the place will be really crowded. Lucky for us we came during weekdays and only have few people during that time.
