Strolling Along Rambla de Mar in Barcelona at Sunset
Rambla de Mar, an extension of La Rambla, stretches across the old fishing port of Barcelona. The wavy wooden walkway passes by the Columbus Monument and connects to the Maremagnum shopping center and the Barcelona Aquarium.
Visiting in the late afternoon as the sun begins to set, the bright light allows you to enjoy views of sailboats and various maritime activities. Seagulls rest along the way, and the coastal art installations make for great photo opportunities, making the walk very pleasant.
At dusk, the sunset reflects on the old port's waters, creating a picture-perfect scene. It's a popular spot for locals to stroll and relax.

Barcelona coffee shop “The coffee house”
#EuropeanTravel
📍Location: C/ de València, 143, L'Eixample, 08011 Barcelona, Spain
I found this cafe by chance, but it's popular, and both the coffee beans and milk are so delicious, so I recommend it!
They also have brunch and bakery menus, so there were a lot of takeout customers.
I had a cappuccino, and the milk, foam, and coffee beans were all so delicious!!
The store itself is a bit small, so if you just eat in, you might have to wait.
The milk is delicious, so I recommend the coffee menu with milk!

Mountain village in the Pyrenees
La Pobla de Lillet, 2 hours drive north from Barcelona, is a small mountain village nestled in between valleys and crossed by the Llobregat river. 🏔️
It boasts excellent local cuisine and typical mountain architectural features: like cobblestone covered streets, tilted black roofs and stone walls. 🌲
Amazingly, through the tourist office you can get the key to climb up the bell tower of the church, quite a unique experience that will allow you enjoy the views of the village from the top. 🔔
La Pobla de Lillet is a great chance for a tranquil getaway not too far from Barcelona, and extra tip: it holds a secret garden that was designed by Catalan master architect Antoni Gaudí, more about this in another post, be sure yo check it out 😊

4-day trip to Barcelona, Spain!
I went around Barcelona🇪🇸 in 4 days!
📍Sagrada Familia
When you think of Barcelona, this is the place to be! It was so grand✨✨✨
The view from the back of the Sagrada Familia is very famous, but the view from the front and side of the Sagrada Familia was also very beautiful! Please take a look around it😉
*Advance reservations are required to visit the inside
📍Gothic Quarter
The atmosphere of the city of Barcelona changes completely in the Gothic Quarter, located near the beach!
When you walk around, you will see the cathedral, famous bridges, and old-fashioned souvenir shops. In the evening, there are many restaurants where you can eat while watching the sunset🎶
I had sangria and paella!
📍Casa Mila
A huge mansion designed by the architect who designed the Sagrada Familia🏰
You can tour the area from the first floor to the rooftop using Japanese audio! We went there in the evening, and luckily we were able to see the sunset from the rooftop of Casa Mila 🤩
📍Cultural Center and Arc de Triomf
This is an archaeological site where you can learn about the history of Barcelona! For 4€, we were able to actually tour the history and buildings of Barcelona with an English guide! We were also able to actually walk down the alleys of houses from 200 years ago, which was a great memory ❣️
The Arc de Triomf was about a 5-minute walk from here! You can also get to the harbor in about 10 minutes, so be sure to walk around 😉
📍Park Guell
*Reservations required in advance!
We were planning to go on the first day, but we couldn't buy tickets, so we took revenge on the second day 😅
It was a wonderful place with a panoramic view of Barcelona, which has a long history, and many art works remaining!
We also found a colorful lizard in a souvenir shop 💡
We were able to enjoy it thoroughly in 4 days!

See and Taste Around Barcelona
Barcelona has it all, so it is no wonder it is one of the top destinations in Europe. Strolling along the streets, you can find jaw-dropping architectural wonders by Gaudi, ruins and vestiges of the ancient Roman Empire, historical museums, mouth-watering tapas, and markets to suit your needs. I signed up for historical walking tours and a foodie tour to learn and eat my way around Barcelona and met other travelers who gave great recommendations and reviews of places they visited around the city. With so much to offer, Barcelona cannot disappoint!

Barcelona …. don’t forget to look up! 😱
Bold, brash, colourful, distinctive, harmonious, varied and unique are just a few adjectives that come to mind when describing Barcelona architecture.
Barcelona has successfully blended the old and the new in a way that makes this city simply breathtakingly beautiful. There is nothing more enjoyable than strolling around the streets of Barcelona and taking in the atmosphere that radiates out from the architecture. Traditional Catalan Gothic architecture such as the Iglesia de Pi church is reserved and stoic in its design, but just a 5 minute walk away we have the Barcelona Cathedral with its beautiful arches and facade.

Spooky Barcelona!! 👻🎃
There’s nothing like a spooky Barcelona!!
Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, is known for its art and architecture. The fantastical Sagrada Família church and other modernist landmarks designed by Antoni Gaudí dot the city. Museu Picasso and Fundació Joan Miró feature modern art by their namesakes. City history museum MUHBA, includes several Roman archaeological sites.
Barcelona is a city with a wide range of original leisure options that encourage you to visit time and time again. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

BARCELONA’S OLD CITY: DISCOVER THE GOTHIC QUA
Barcelona’s Old City is steeped in history and soaked in charm. Wandering its streets and alleys is a delightful thing to do in Barcelona, but there’s more to the Old City than just the Gothic Quarter. Read on for a guide to the Barcelona Old City neighbourhoods (or barrios), including the Gothic Quarter, Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera, El Born, El Raval and La Barceloneta.
The Old City, or Ciutat Vella, is the oldest part of Barcelona, its historic heart. There has been a settlement here since Roman times when it was known as Barcino. Once hemmed in by medieval walls, which were taken down in the 19th century, Barcelona’s old city remains a dense network of streets, alleys and historic buildings. But it’s not just for pretty walks and sightseeing: Barcelona’s Old City remains a vibrant, humming community, full of life. And it’s not all the same – the historic neighbourhoods (barris in Catalan and barrios in Spanish) each have their own distinct personality and appeal.

It’s no doubt that Barcelona is one of the most photogenic cities on the planet—especially at sunset.
As evening falls over the city, Barcelona takes on a special kind of magic that you have to experience for yourself. Of course, since Barcelona lies on Spain’s eastern coast, you won’t be able to catch a true coastal sunset—you’ll have to go to Galicia or Spain’s islands for that. However, the beautiful twilight that settles over Barcelona is still incredible.
Of all the travel experiences waiting out there in the big wide world, ‘sipping cocktails on a rooftop bar in Barcelona as the sun sets in the distance’ has to be right up near the top. The very thought of it is enough to draw wistful sighs and excessive daydreaming. Europe doesn’t get much more romantic than this.
Barcelona is packed with amazing things to do and fantastic restaurants, and a sunset drink on a rooftop bar is the perfect end to a perfect day.

Revolving Around the Beauty of Architecture: Eyes on Spain
Stop: Celler Castelo de Pedregosa, Galicia
Celler Castelo de Pedregosa is a remarkable fusion of traditional Galician architecture and modern winemaking innovation. Set amidst rolling vineyards, the estate features classic stone buildings with sloped roofs and wooden beams, reflecting the vernacular style of rural Galicia. These historic structures are complemented by contemporary architectural interventions—glass facades, clean lines, and open interior spaces—that facilitate modern production while maintaining visual harmony with the landscape.
The winery’s design emphasizes transparency and connection to nature. Visitors can view the wine production process through spacious tasting rooms and walkways that integrate seamlessly with the surrounding vineyards. The architecture balances functionality with aesthetics, ensuring that the natural beauty of Galicia’s terrain remains central to the experience.
What makes Celler Castelo de Pedregosa extraordinary is its ability to merge tradition with innovation. For travelers, this stop offers both a sensory and architectural journey, where the history of Galician building techniques coexists with contemporary design, creating a space that celebrates craftsmanship, landscape, and the art of winemaking.

Barcelona Suburban Trip: Ermita de Sant Onofre
[Trip Moment Delivery 🗞️]
This time, let's explore the hidden sanctuary nestled in the rocky cliffs—Ermita de Sant Onofre! 🇪🇸⛰️
🛄ㅣExperience at Ermita de Sant Onofre
As you venture deeper into the mountain trails from Montserrat Monastery, you'll come across a small chapel seemingly fused with the rocks. This is Ermita de Sant Onofre. Unlike other chapels, this one clings to the edge of a steep cliff, evoking a mix of awe and tension when you first encounter it. 🙏
The chapel itself is modest in size, built with simple stonework and minimal decoration. Yet, its simplicity amplifies its profound significance. The traces of monks who retreated from the secular world to pray and meditate in the rocky mountains remain palpable here.
Standing in front of the chapel, you'll see a deep valley below and the panoramic view of Montserrat's jagged rock formations stretching into the distance. The strong winds add to the thrill of standing on the cliff, but amidst the gusts, there's an inexplicable sense of tranquility. It feels as though nature itself has become a grand cathedral, embracing the small chapel within its vast expanse. 🌳
Unlike the bustling monastery, this place is serene and secluded. Sitting alone for a few minutes, you might feel like a true hermit, disconnected from the world, and find a moment to confront yourself in the silence.
Ermita de Sant Onofre may not be grand or ornate, but it embodies the purest and most tranquil traces of faith that can only be experienced in Montserrat. 🫠

Barcelona Suburban Trip: Ermita de Sant Miquel
[Trip Moment Delivery 🗞️]
This time, let's explore the serene chapel nestled in the mountain paths of Montserrat, Ermita de Sant Miquel! 🇪🇸⛰️🙏
🛄 | Experience at Ermita de Sant Miquel
A short walk up the trail from Montserrat Monastery leads you to a small chapel quietly situated in the forest. This is Ermita de Sant Miquel. Unlike the grand cathedral of the monastery, this place is modest and humble, yet its simplicity resonates deeply~😆
The chapel stands peacefully between rocky mountains and forest paths, with stone walls that bear the marks of time. Though it lacks elaborate decorations, its simple structure and small bell tower reveal its long-standing role as a place of rest and prayer for pilgrims and hikers.
The surroundings are incredibly quiet, with only the sound of leaves rustling in the wind and birds chirping. Standing in front of the chapel, you feel a sense of tranquility as if time flows more slowly. The contrast between the opulence of the monastery's cathedral and the atmosphere here seems to better reflect the essence of faith—serenity and humility!!👏
As I sat for a moment to catch my breath and gazed at the chapel, I felt its power to make anyone, religious or not, pause and reflect. For those visiting Montserrat, this small chapel feels less like a tourist spot and more like a true haven of rest.🫠

This trip takes you to the Creu de Sant Miquel viewpoint, where the cross touches the sky of Montserrat! 🇪🇸⛰️
🛄ㅣExperience at Creu de Sant Miquel
After exploring Montserrat Monastery, I took a short walk to the Creu de Sant Miquel viewpoint. It’s about a 20-minute gentle uphill walk from the monastery, and the path itself is charming and perfect for enjoying nature.
Upon reaching the viewpoint, a majestic cross standing on a rock greeted me. Behind the cross, the vast sky and the endless Catalonia plains stretched out, while below, the monastery appeared quaint and picturesque. Surrounded by rocky mountains, the sudden opening to this expansive view brought a sense of liberation, as if the world had just unfolded before my eyes. 😆
Standing next to the cross and gazing at the scenery, the monastery looked like a tiny jewel nestled within the embrace of the massive mountain. The plains extending far into the distance and the horizon flowing toward the Mediterranean seemed boundless. The gentle breeze and the silhouette of the cross conveyed a serene and almost sacred atmosphere~👏
Creu de Sant Miquel is one of the easiest viewpoints to reach in Montserrat, but its scenery is anything but "light." Offering a panoramic view of the monastery, mountains, plains, and sky, this spot is undoubtedly a highlight of any Montserrat visit! 🫠
