You'd be surprised as I was discovering a rich history and a colorful culture. To start, Old Town is actually Albuquerque's first an oldest town in Albuquerque established in the early 1700s. Built in the colonial Spanish Pueblo style and layout, Old Town creates a labyrinth of narrow streets which houses the town's treasurethrowves of gastronomic riches preserved and passed on to this generation to be served in tables of century old adobe houses and restaurants. These streets also extend their legacy to more than just food as these streets provide home to tiny artisan shops selling jewelry, rugs and pottery.
