Algonquin Provincial Park

#canadatrip For families or first-time campers, the developed campgrounds along Highway 60, such as Pog Lake or Lake of Two Rivers, are fantastic. The sites are generally spacious, nestled among large trees for decent privacy, and the facilities (washrooms, laundry, showers) are well-maintained. We loved the convenience of having access to swimming beaches, bike rentals, and being close to the interpretive hiking trails. Be sure to book your campsite exactly five months in advance at 7:00 AM, as they sell out instantly in the summer!
