A 3-day, 2-night travel plan in Surat Thani, packed and complete.

#TravelPlan We traveled in the southern region on a road trip, starting from Chachoengsao, but we stayed in Surat Thani for 3 days, so I will summarize it for you. Anyone who wants to follow this plan can do so. Day 1 ☀️Afternoon: Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya Ratchaworawihan We left home and arrived in Surat Thani in the afternoon. Passing through Chaiya District, we stopped by to pay homage to Phra That Chaiya for good luck. The temple is not far from the main road, so you won't waste time traveling. 🌤️Evening: Khao Theppitak Suspension Bridge (Khao Phang Suspension Bridge) This place is near the Ratchaprapha Dam. It's a beautiful place to take pictures. The suspension bridge crosses the stream. If you're lucky in the evening, they will release water from the dam, which will be even more beautiful. 🏡Accommodation: Garden Home Riverside Resort We chose to stay here, not in the dam. The reason is that it's much cheaper than sleeping in the dam, and there are many options to choose from. This accommodation is newly opened. There are 4 individual houses and 1 family house. We stayed in a house for 2 people on weekdays for 1,290 baht. You can eat cold drinks here. There is also a restaurant. Day 2 ⛅️Morning: Boat trip at Ratchaprapha Dam We went on a boat trip early in the morning, around 6 am, because there was a lot of fog in the morning and the weather was not hot. The normal package costs 1,800 baht to Khao Sam Kloe and feed the fish at Pa Nang Prai, which takes about 2 hours. After the trip, we went back to have breakfast at the accommodation. ☀️ Lunch: We went to 2 cafes, which are on the way to go rafting this evening. The first place is Bridge Hill Cafe. This cafe has a very beautiful view. When we went, it was drizzling and there was thick fog with the mountain behind the cafe, so it was very beautiful. Many people stopped by because it was on the way to Phang Nga. The second place is 🌿 kyojin bean and spirits. The outside is simple and minimalist. The inside is decorated in Japanese style. The bakery and drink menu are very good, 10/10. Matcha, Hojicha, coffee, all menus are good. The view is also very beautiful. You can take pictures of many views and atmospheres. 🌤️ Evening: Floating on the Lok Sok raft, Khlong Sok. The raft that we came to float on is included in the accommodation package. They will pick us up from the accommodation to get on the raft. It takes less than 10 minutes to drive from the accommodation, but it takes almost 2 hours to raft back. There will be a stop along the way for bamboo tea and coffee. If you want to jump into the water and float along the raft, you can do so. The rafting will end right at the accommodation. 🏡 Accommodation: Khao Sok River Canoe We chose this place because it has a rafting package included. The price is not too expensive. We got it for 1,290, including accommodation, rafting, cold barbecue pork, and breakfast. The accommodation is right next to the stream where the rafting is taking place. The atmosphere in the morning is very good. Day 3 ⛅️ Morning: Ban Nam Rat Forest, Ban Thamnien Subdistrict. I recommend coming here at 9:00 AM so you can take beautiful pictures with clear water. If you are in the morning, there will be a lot of people playing in the water, so the water will be murky. There are 2 zones here: a paddling zone and a swimming zone. Paddling is fun. If you go all the way, it is not very far, but the view is repetitive. If you don't want to get too tired, if you find a beautiful view that you like and are satisfied with the photos, you can go back. 555 🌱 From the forest, you will return to Surat Thani city. You will pass a cafe called Homecoming Cafe Suratthani, which is in a Bangchak gas station. We found this place by chance. Beautiful cafe. The menu we ate was Cuban cocoa. It was very good. It was delicious and unique. It had a little bit of a nutty smell. ☀️ Lunch: Baan Guay Tiew Seafood by Pa Ting, Soi Sri Kasem 8. The shop is located in the city center. The entrance is a bit narrow. There is a lot of parking space inside and it is located next to the canal. The highlight menu is the seafood noodles. But there are many options to choose from. Like the bowl in the picture, it costs 180 baht. There are also many other menus that are not noodles. Finally, a cafe at ☕️ Echo Cafe is near the noodle shop. It is a famous cafe. There is also food. But we went to eat bingsu, which was very delicious. The matcha bingsu was strong and smooth. It was very delicious. The coffee menu was also very delicious and fragrant.
