On the second day in Bangkok, I decided to spend the afternoon at Wat Arun. Take a boat from Saphan Taksin BTS Station and sail along the Chao Phraya River. As I climbed up the steps of the tower, my vision gradually widened and I could see the magnificent scenery of the Chao Phraya River and downtown Bangkok. I couldn't help but sigh in admiration. However, the most impressive view is at dusk. I took a boat to the small pavilion on the other side and chose a seat facing the river. As the sun gradually sets, the light changes from golden yellow to orange-red. The entire Wat Arun is surrounded by soft warm colors. The porcelain tiles on the tower body reflect slightly in the light. The beauty of that moment seems impossible to be fully captured by the camera of a mobile phone. When night falls, the lights in Wat Arun are turned on. The tower glows softly in the dark and is reflected on the water, like a dream painting.
