🌟Highlights: After 8 years of meticulous design and craftsmanship by CCD, this top-tier luxury hotel has emerged from what was once an ordinary residential courtyard. Having lived nearby and visited many unremarkable courtyards, I was amazed by the beauty of this transformed capital courtyard. Every corner is a picturesque scene, like a traditional Chinese painting. 🏨Hotel Environment: Located in Caochang Hutong, an area I hold dear, as my elementary and middle schools were nearby. Despite being the most expensive hotel in the country, the entrance to the Qianmen Mandarin Oriental is surprisingly understated. Stepping inside reveals a hidden world—a classic square courtyard with a large tree at its center. 🍽Dining Recommendations: Yan Ting, the Chinese restaurant: A trendy Cantonese restaurant in the hutong, led by Chef Fai. The pigeon and steamed fish are both incredibly delicious. It's bound to receive Michelin stars and Black Pearl Diamond awards within 2 years. VICINI, the Western restaurant: Featuring an outdoor terrace, it occupies the highest point in the hutong, offering a panoramic view of Caochang Hutong. The breakfast here is even more lavish than dinner, with king crab and champagne. 🛏Room Amenities: 42 courtyard rooms are tucked away in the hutongs from Caochang San Tiao to Caochang Shi Tiao, each "tiao" being a hutong several hundred meters long. Each room is a self-contained, traditional Beijing courtyard with its own entrance. There are L-shaped (two-bedroom) and U-shaped (three-bedroom) configurations, ranging in size from 103 to 525 square meters.
