Exploring Rosewood Beijing: A Rendezvous with Luxury and Comfort I recently checked in at Rosewood Beijing, staying in a Deluxe King Room (Room 07). The experience left a deep impression on me. Although the hotel has been operating for ten years, the room's overall quality remains excellent, with impeccable maintenance that shows no signs of age. Unfortunately, I encountered smog on the first day which slightly affected visibility, but it cleared up significantly the next day, offering a panoramic city view. The welcome fruit consisted of three oranges, drinking water was Sirma in glass bottles (standard rooms apparently have the same boxed water as the pool), and Jing tea bags were provided. The minibar was well-stocked with two pre-chilled champagne glasses - a thoughtful detail. The TV supports screen casting, which is very convenient, and food delivery can be sent directly to the room. The bedding and bathrobes are from Frette, of superior quality. The spacious bathtub comes with custom Lorenzo amenities that have a pleasant fragrance. Hotel Facilities Experience The hotel pool is a popular photo spot, and it truly lives up to its reputation. The elegant environment and water temperature are the most comfortable among the Beijing hotels I've stayed in. There's a small whirlpool nearby, and relaxing on the loungers after swimming is pure bliss. When I returned to the room in the evening, turndown service had been completed, with water and snacks placed by the bedside (originally stored in a small box in the nightstand), and the room had been tidied up, creating a cozy atmosphere. Dining Experience The breakfast is generally excellent, among the best in Beijing hotels of the same caliber, though the beef noodles are slightly less impressive compared to Conrad's. Hotel Overview The hotel boasts an excellent location in Beijing's CBD, with immediate access to China World Mall, SKP, and other shopping centers - perfect for those who prefer not to travel far or drive for dining. The interior environment is praiseworthy, with large windows offering stunning CBD night views. The overall style is modern and design-focused, making it an ideal choice for hotel enthusiasts and photography lovers. The service is excellent, with a personalized welcome message on the TV upon check-in, adding a special touch. Stay Experience 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The hotel maintains high cleanliness standards with thorough room cleaning. The soundproofing is excellent, effectively blocking outside noise for a quiet rest environment. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: The Deluxe King Room features a practical layout with efficient space utilization and clear functional areas, providing comfortable accommodation. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: Comprehensive high-end facilities, from branded bedding to refined amenities and screen-casting TV, meeting various needs. 💰Average Cost: Reasonably priced, with standard king rooms typically starting from RMB 2,000+, increasing during peak tourist seasons. Decent value considering the service and experience provided. 💗Additional Tips: 1. For the best views, avoid booking during smoggy days by checking weather forecasts in advance. 2. For budget-conscious travelers, booking on working days offers better value. 3. Perfect for special occasions like Valentine's Day or birthdays, offering great atmosphere and photo opportunities. Overall, my stay at Rosewood Beijing was excellent, and I'd love to try the bar next time. It's a great choice for both couples and friends gathering together.
