Conquer the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu Pass

The Great Wall has many sections, each with its own unique beauty. On this trip, we chose Mutianyu Section because it only takes an hour and a half by bus from downtown Beijing. In addition to being close, Mutianyu Section also has Taboggan, a slide that slides down from the Great Wall, which is the highlight of this trip. It's awesome! If you want to go to both sides, it will cost 280 CNY What is the difference between East and West sides❓ 🛝 Mutianyu East side: The cable car uphill only has a fall lock. It doesn't take long. It's not scary at all. You can sit in each cable car for 2 people. When the cable car goes to the top, we will be at Fort 6. We can walk from Fort 6 to Fort 1, but the guide recommended that we walk to Fort 4, which is the highlight. There will be 3 towers in a row. Then come back down by taking the Taboggan. This is really fun. There will be a control in the middle. If you push forward, it will go faster. If you pull back, it will brake. The slide down takes quite a while. I feel that it is worth the money because it is so much fun. Along the way, there are beautiful flowers to see while going down. 🚠 Mutianyu West side: This side, when getting off the park bus, you have to walk about 200 meters up the mountain, very tiring. This side will take a cable car called 360 view cable car, can seat up to 8 people. The cable car will stop at Fort 14, which is the only one with a bathroom and a 5A sign. This side has a flat and long walkway, quite beautiful, but there are some difficult spots. The round trip will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes. I personally think the West side is beautiful, but the East side has a taboggan that you can slide down more fun. But in any case, walking on both sides is tiring. The total cost of going to the Great Wall of China is almost 2,500 baht per person.
