The Path to the Soul: Bom Jesus do Monte Monastery

The terraced gardens, small lake, colonnades, and fountains along the staircase create a serene and spiritual atmosphere. Upon reaching the summit, you are rewarded with a panoramic view of Braga city. It is approximately a 6km (over 1 hour) walk from Braga's old town. Alternatively, you can easily access it via bus, taxi, car, or funicular from the city center. Admission: The sanctuary is open to the public for free. However, the funicular costs approximately €2 for a one-way trip and €3 for a round trip.
