Built in 1760, the palace was commissioned by Hungarian nobleman Antal Grassalkovich. The guard change ceremony at noon every day attracts many tourists to stop and appreciate. The ceremony is brief but quite imposing, and it is a good opportunity to experience the local political ceremony culture. The "Presidential Garden" (Prezidentská záhrada) behind the palace is open to the public. It is one of the green spaces for citizens to walk and rest.
