It is run by the main chef of 'Osteria Bubu', CEO Kim Yu-shin, who was born in Choryang-dong, Dong-gu, Busan, and his Japanese wife. His background as a chef is a bit unique. He originally worked as a bodyguard in Seoul, but he realized his talent while living alone and worked at a restaurant in Cheongdam-dong. However, he didn't like the fact that they used a lot of chemical seasonings, and because of his belief that you shouldn't put bad things in food, he often clashed with the restaurant's chef, so he quit and went to Japan and Italy, where he learned cooking for 4 years and 2 and a half years, respectively, and opened a restaurant. The word Osteria does not refer to Austria, a country in Europe, but rather to a restaurant with more than 50 kinds of wine in Italian. It is smaller than a ristorante (restaurant). It is a cozy restaurant with 12 seats, half of which is a kitchen and half a bar, and it is an open kitchen restaurant where you can see the couple cooking while you eat.
