๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ Citadel of Salah al-Din

Perched atop a hill in Cairo, the Saladin Citadel is a fortress built by the 12th-century Islamic hero Saladin to defend against the Crusaders. Its majesty still remains today. ๐Ÿฐ The thick walls and majestic towers serve as an indomitable shield protecting the city, offering a glimpse into the power and strategy of the Islamic world at the time. โš”๏ธ Inside the Citadel stands the magnificent Mosque of Muhammad Ali, a splendid example of Ottoman architecture. ๐Ÿ•Œ The white domes and sleek minarets complement the Cairo skyline, creating a spectacular sight. The marble and chandeliers within exude a sense of antiquity. The view of Cairo from the hilltop captures the city's vibrant energy and the harmonious blend of ancient and modern. ๐ŸŒ† #SeptemberTravelGrant #EgyptTravel #SaladinCitadel

Great Sphinx of Giza

With the cold wave warning and the weather being so cold these days, I keep thinking about warm travel destinations. So I brought photos from my trip to Egypt! Itโ€™s so warm, itโ€™s hot ใ…‹ใ…‹ใ…‹ A place with pyramids hundreds of times bigger than a person and a Sphinx that looks like you have to solve a riddle right away. A place where you can face an endless desert. When I traveled to Egypt, I once pitched a tent and stayed overnight in the middle of the desert. I woke up because the temperature at night was much colder than during the day, but I still remember the view I saw when I came out of the tent. The sky was full of stars from all directions. It really felt like I was looking at a painting.. I regret that it wasnโ€™t captured on camera. The next morning, I woke up to a huge sand dune. The sand sledding on that dune was so much fun! It was a different feeling from snow sledding!! Egypt is a place I really want to visit again. At that time, I will definitely take a picture of the night sky with my camera :) #EgyptTravel #YearEndTravel #SafeTravel #Pyramid #Sphinx #Desert #YearEndTravel #SafeTravel
