Hiking the Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail

Hiking the 3.2km-long Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail in Doi Inthanon National Park was an absolute must-do activity for us. Having an accompanying guide is mandatory as it provides the local Hmong people with some additional income, and as we followed the lead of our friendly guide Bao, the trail took us along rather well-maintained walkways, steps & boardwalks through the cool forest until we reached a clearing. From there, it was just a brief uphill climb to the panoramic viewpoint where we spent a good while soaking in the surrounding views & fresh air, before heading back down via the narrow mountain ridge And for the umpteenth time, we were blessed with glorious weather 🙏🙏🙏 If it had poured, the trail would have been a disastrous mudslide without clear visibility and we would have to strike it off the day’s programme.
