There are many indigenous people living on the mountain. 🕒Opening Hours: All day, the best viewing period is from late September to early October each year. 🎫Ticket Price: Normally, the ticket is 60 yuan, and the sightseeing car is 30 yuan/trip, but if you stay overnight in the scenic area, the accommodation fee includes the ticket to the scenic area but not the sightseeing car ticket. Just show your accommodation order at the entrance of the scenic area, and the ticket inspectors will ask which homestay you are staying at. The sightseeing car ticket is valid for the whole day and can be used multiple times, while the entrance ticket is valid as long as you don't leave the scenic area. 🚗Travel Planning: Drive directly to 'Shangbao Terraces Scenic Area'. This attraction is not very convenient for public transportation and is suitable for self-driving. You can take a high-speed train to Ganzhou West, then take a Didi or rent a car to get there, about 120 kilometers away, 2 hours' drive, and the cost is about 150-180 yuan. The road conditions are good, with green mountains and rivers all the way to the scenic area, which are all asphalt roads. It's worth praising that although Jiangxi's economy is not strong, the rural road construction is quite good. 🏠Accommodation Arrangement: There are quite a few homestays inside, but they are scattered because the attractions are dispersed. There are renovated old houses and newly built ones, as well as some popular homestays, with prices ranging from 200-800 yuan. There are quaint wooden houses, and the whole room is filled with the scent of wood, which is particularly relaxing. If you like quietness and being close to nature, this is a place worth visiting. These terraces are the largest Hakka terraces in China, awarded 'Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems' by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, and included in the 'World Irrigation Project Heritage List'. The surrounding mountains are covered with hemp bamboo, and the negative oxygen ions in the morning and evening are off the charts. The various bird calls and the sound of mountain springs make your mind peaceful and your thoughts distant.
