Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Base - Wenyuan Lion City

Located at No. 1 Shicheng Road, Jiangjia Town, Qiandao Lake, Chun'an County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, Wenyuan Lion City is the first intangible cultural heritage experience base in China. It will recreate the original scenery of the underwater millennium Lion City, reviving the 1400-year-old civilization of the ancient underwater city. With revitalization as the main approach, it integrates traditional handicrafts, intangible heritage projects, folk customs, and festivals into a lifestyle and scenario-based experience. Inside the Wenyuan Lion City scenic area, there is not only the busiest East and North Streets of the entire Lion City, but also the recreation of the famous Yao family, the Merit Archway, the Chastity Archway, and seven other archways from the ancient Lion City on North Street. This unique Archway Street has also become a real-life museum of Jiangnan archway culture in China. The nightlife of Wenyuan Lion City offers a variety of activities: underwater ancient city sightseeing, open-air concerts, dance performances at open-air bars, night cycling, night running, fluorescent night fishing, a wonderful night in the ancient city, and light shows for thrilling exploration.
