Touring the Southeast Lake Scenic Area of Qiandao Lake

Arriving at Qiandao Lake at noon, we took the 12:45 boat to the Southeast Lake area. This boat only goes to Huangshan Peak and Tianchi Island, and the round trip takes about four hours. The first-floor ticket, including the island fee, costs 195 yuan. To go to the second floor, an additional 33 yuan is required, and you can move around on the deck. There were relatively few people on this boat, and only four or five people went to the second floor, allowing for plenty of photo opportunities. The first stop is Huangshan Peak, with an hour of playtime. Although the mountain is not high, it takes about 20 minutes to walk up, but the entire route involves climbing stairs. You can also choose to take the cable car, which costs 50 yuan for a round trip. At the top of the mountain, you can see the islands shaped like the characters '公' and '下'. The second stop is Tianchi Island, with 45 minutes of playtime. This island is relatively easier to climb, not as high, and takes 20 minutes to reach the top. The main attractions are the Tianchi at the top of the mountain and feeding the fish, which is not very entertaining. Be sure to return to the boat on time after touring the island, as the boat will depart punctually.
