If you’re visiting Copenhagen, don’t miss the bakeries — they’re seriously next level. Start your morning at Juno the Bakery (in Østerbro). The cardamom bun is famous for a reason — soft, buttery, and perfectly spiced. Go early because there’s usually a line! Another great stop is Andersen & Maillard in Nørrebro. Their croissants are super flaky, and the coffee is roasted in-house. Super cool vibe too. For something central, check out Democratic Coffee near the library. Their almond croissants are amazing — sweet, crispy, and gooey inside. Honestly one of the best I’ve had. If you’re into sourdough and more unique pastries, Hart Bageri (by a former Noma chef!) is worth the detour.
