Visit Donghwasa Temple in Daegu｜Experience Tranquility and Peace

🌟Highlights: Donghwasa Temple was first built by the monk Geukdal in the 15th year of King Soji of Silla (493 AD). It was originally named Yogasa Temple, but was later renamed Donghwasa Temple because the paulownia trees in the temple continued to bloom in winter. 📍Address: 35 Dohak-dong, Dong-gu, Daegu, South Korea, on the south side of Palgongsan Mountain. ❤Recommended: The main hall of Donghwasa Temple has three rooms on the front and three on the side, with unique natural pillars. Inside the hall are statues of Sakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, and Bhaisajyaguru Buddha. Down the stone steps on the side of Bongseoru Pavilion, along the cement road, is the majestic stone statue of Bhaisajyaguru Buddha. This giant Buddha is 17 meters high and symbolizes the prayer for unification. 👍Top recommendation: The stone pagoda, stone lantern, lion statue, and lotus lantern are also very large. To the north of the Bhaisajyaguru Buddha statue are stone statues surrounding it like a screen, which are of world-class scale. 🕙Opening hours: Open all year round, from sunrise to sunset. 💰Ticket prices: KRW 2,500 for ages 19 and above, KRW 1,500 for ages 13–18, and KRW 1,000 for ages 12 and below.
