Australia 🦘Sydney City Tour

When I set foot in Sydney again, my mood was very different from the first time I came here. When I first saw it that year, I was full of excitement and novelty, and always wanted to check in at each attraction one by one; but this time, it was more of a gentle feeling of returning to a familiar place. Walking from Circular Quay to the Opera House, the sea breeze is still salty and the sun shines on the white sails. The scene before my eyes is so familiar, yet it seems to have been brewed by time, becoming softer and closer. Walking slowly along the Royal Botanic Gardens, no longer in a hurry to take pictures, nor in a hurry to hurry, just quietly feeling and listening to the rustling of leaves and the sound of the ferry cutting through the sea in the distance. At lunch time, I returned to the old street of The Rocks and found the small cafe in my memory. I ordered the same Flat White, sat quietly, and watched the people coming and going. I felt a wonderful sense of security in my heart - just like meeting old friends, no need for too many words, just being together is good. This time I took another ferry to Manly Beach. The waves are still there, the sand is still warm, but my mood is different when I stand on the beach. The urge to "go further" turned into a desire to "stay longer". Climbing up the Sydney Tower at night and looking at the lights of thousands of homes, I remembered the many dreams I made in my heart when I first stood here. And this time, standing in the same place, I feel even more grateful in my heart - grateful that I am still on the road, and grateful to this city for still gently welcoming me. Sydney is not just a stop on your journey. It is like an old friend, quietly waiting for you to come back. Then I will gently embrace you with the same sea breeze and sunshine.
